I don't know of barun sanaya really care about these awards...barun doesn't attend and sanaya didn't know nominations😆 She gets money thru performing at awards and I am sure she is happy. These 2 know how popular they are with masses and in IF and Internet audience so awards r just time pass, know me will remember them later

If u chk most of the awards like Oscar, Cannes, Indian National Awards etc preference is given to serious hard hitting movies over light, funny movies. Humorous movies rarely win awards. This unwritten thumb rule extends to the actors/directors as well.

That is y u ll notice a separate category for comedy. Best comedy serial, best comedy actor etc etc. Mostly actors who r essaying a more serious, darker role win the awards.

So in SI's case its the same. Rarely do the CVs show her in a serious avatar. I know that many ppl ve mentioned that the character of Manavi also was initially OTT. But once she was diagnosed with cancer her character was toned down & she was shown more emotional & serious.

No matter how much v deny the role/character the actor plays has a major part during these awards. I agree that its v diff 2 make ppl laugh. But ultimately for these awards an actor is considered exceptional only when he/she manages to move the audience to tears rather than make them smile. Hence ppl like SI who portray a light hearted, fun loving character ll never win awards. This has got nothing to do with any hatred or bias against the actor in this case SI.

These r purely my views based on my experience with all these awards b it international or national!

In my opinion sanya did not deserve it...that's why she did not get it...the girl over acts mind you...the fake chirpy persona she dons is difficult to take...sanya should win mantra is doing such an injustice to the person who won it...

But if u chk the # of comedy scenes & # of emotional scenes the former outnumber the latter. And sorry but i cant digest OTT, loud characters which is wat KKG is most of the times. Some like u may like that character but some like me dont. Same goes for Awards jury as well. This is in no way the fault of the actress SI but unfortunately she misses out on the awards due to this 😕

And no international awards like Oscars r not fair. Hitchcock never received an award. Nor Wes Craven, Carpenter etc. Speilberg won only aft he specifically directed a tearjerker like Schindler's list. And of course every1 knows their bias against blacks!

For me sanaya is the best... :)
