umm, because he is a boy wid brains and he didn't want to get his wifey in deeper shit!
For one i was happy he remained silent and waited for his di to do the slapping honours.

I mean that really doesn't mean he has to prove something to the family or himself that Khushi is innocent! When people already know what a cheap bas***d Shyam is, why bother!

His taunts were getting really old and stupid and lifeless!

Today Arnav wanted his Di not to miss a chance of slapping Shyam. He was quite and observing his Di and Shyam. Today scenario was totally different.

Agreed, bringing Khushi into the matter and making the whole issue about her would only give Shyam a weight against the lead duo and the chances to the ever naive and gullible Anjali to fall into Shyam's trap AGAIN would be maximum!

it wasnt about ASR bringing down shyam.. it was about anjali bringing down shyam 😃

Cause the purpose of this whole track was to get his Di to finally believe...and now she does and will become stronger. A stronger Di means Arnav can focus on his wife Khushi.
