Nice post!

yes, i have been Drashti fan since her Muskaan days. She gets so involved in her character that you forget about Drashti and remember Muskaan, Geet or Madhubala.

Love her a lot!

Love the new sizzling and rocking "love/hate Story of Madhubala & RK".

Regarding rankings...I'm sorry but staying out of it because I've had it. Also after start working with special needs children I could care even less about who is no 1 or 2 in the rankings. A dose of reality kind of changed my priorities. However my support is with DVD and the show in every other aspect.

Thanks for a special shoutout to DD fans. Yes she is giving male leads competion which is a good thing. Personally I've always been twice as critical towards male actors than females. I absolutely refuse to like an actor only because of good looks. Great acting skills and a personlity to follow is a must for me to become a fan. Only because he's a male actor and I'm female fan shouldn't give him an advantage. Equal is equal (I sound like such a feminist!). VD has sure impressed the hell out of me with his mad acting skills and no one could have played RK better than him but for me to become his fan will take some time.

I really agree with your post. I have always felt that if there is any female actress that has the most loyal fans then it is Drashti. And that is something I completely understand because even I am a Drashti fan. her acting is just something else. She doesn't need dialogues to brilliantly enact a scene, and something I realized in last week's episode when she spoke up to RK was that she didn't have to yell, scream, or cry hysterically to make her scene impactful. she spoke up to him in a low regular voice but had the impact of a tigress!

I feel that Drashti Dhami is something beyond these IF rankings. I never really payed attention to IF rankings in the first place because I realized that they are decided by whose fans will comment more rather than who acts better. I do go on her page and comment sometimes. But if we be real here, these IF rankings have no importance and don't affect the actors. It's not going to matter to Drashti whether her rank is 3 or 4, because IF isn't going to reward her for being at the top of their list, and nor does that mean she is the fourth best actress because I'm sure more than half of her fans may not even know what IF is. Also we can see through TRPs that the actors/actresses of shows that are most watched are not the ones that rule the popular celebrity rankings. IF rankings are more so that IFians feel satisfied that their favourites are at the top.

Carisma ... great post ... great part about this forum initially we had our differences but we manage to get along and have great fun and we've also learned to appreciate and respect one another and their opinions
