I am urged to write something again.
Siddhi doesn't trust Kunal blindly; and I don't think she should.
She did question Kunal on seeing Richa all over him, Kunal had to appease her. Siddhi even thought Kunal didn't love her but his actions said something else and also very important Seema. Whenever Siddhi had trouble understanding Kunal, Seema was there as support system.
Now this whole nonsense with and separation; well overall it's a s***hole to say least. But still there are few elements correct.
Siddhi didn't trust Kunal enough to tell him truth and think he may find a way out.
Second Siddhi didn't believe Sulekha's words after so much, well only one encounter with woman who broke Siddhi's promise.
Now Kunal didn't believe his mother and sister when they said Siddhi has turned selfish. Later Kunal saw Siddhi riding him out in court and his entire family accusing Siddhi but he didn't believe her bluff. But the encounter in jail, Siddhi's own words hurt ed Kunal and he wonder if Siddhi is truly changed or not. I would say Siddhi did hell of a job with her lie. Telling you guys a secret, next time you want to lie; don't make up a whole lie, but only change the truth a little. Siddhi did that.
Siddhi was right in saying from day 1 she had to accept so many responsibility. Family cared mostly about Kunal and expected her to fulfill responsibilities. She could only rely on Kunal but once he was thrown in jail; she was once again left alone. Siddhi sure found many proofs but Thakral was able to buy them easily. No one from Chopra's in a way helped her. So it's Kunal's fault for not being there with her. All these things are true. So her conclusion that she had to change as given the circumstances; one is likely to believe it.
Also no one except Vikram was with Kunal in Siddhi's defense. But he too didn't say or explain why? Seema always explained Kunal's behavior to siddhi but here, nothing. Also Kunal had no idea what was going on out there? He questioned siddhi and others but on one really told him what is happening except what they wanted to say. Vikram too didn't say anything about Rohit's death. Another factor, Siddhi's words and actions were consistent. First she pretended to be selfish and later said she is. Not even a single gesture form her suggested otherwise. While with Kunal, he can say he doesn't care, but his actions prove otherwise.
Another important factor is distance right now. Before when SINAL had MUs, they were still in same house, here they are separate. So last encounter with Siddhi is going to be most powerful for Kunal. Yes their history says otherwise, but Siddhi too kind of acknowledged that.
Believing Richa about killing son; well Kunal didn't believe Richa or nurse; he said he wanted to hear it from Siddhi. But we never got to see that and convinently CVs forgot about it. Wish our memory was such but no.
I believe Richa's existence near Kunal is enough to taint him and overshadow his complex nature. We souldn't forget Kunal's actions is what speaks truth. He sure is very much hurt and confused by Siddhi's behavior and anyone would. But as I said, distance is only pilling up on it.
Cvs coudl have shown more complex manipulation of Kunal by Richa and Veena based on emotional gap and vulnerability left after Siddhi's departure. But they are showing an easy manipulation that is not consistent.
