It may not be a very relevant post right now amidst Nanhi's kidnapping and Amar's facts coming out but I was just pondering over this thought for quite sometime and yesterday when I saw Megha reliving those loving moments, I was forced to rethink about possibility of Megha falling for Mohan. It is not that I don't want it to happen, I am dying to see them together but yesterday I felt Mohan was a complete outsider in that house. Not only I, but I felt Mohan also felt he is a complete outsider not only in their house but also in Megha's life. He saw Amar's shadow everywhere. The place his heart is dying to capture is already possessed. It is not empty! I guess that is why he said ' Nobody can take Amar's place. No matter how much he wants to take Magha's pain upon himself, he just cannot because the woman he madly loves is still emotionally and mentally somebody's wife. Megha has not beenable to detach herself from Amar. If not the person himself but she is still married to his memories. And Mohan will never be able to find his place in Megha's life until and unless Megha herself makes room for him. But will Megha ever be able to detach himself from the memories of the one whom she loved and worshiped...and that too, for a person who is exact opposite to her late husband's persona? Amar Viyas, the reason of pride for Viyas family, was an ideal son, brother, husband and father. Very calm, controlled and dignified person in college and office; A well mannered, well dressed, soft spoken; Very caring, loving and giving in his every relationship. Well ! In all a happy person and yes, clean shaven too. How can one not be madly in love with such a lovable person even after his tragic death? Does Mohan with all his happy go lucky image, can ever be able to outshine such wonderful memories. Mohan is a complete contrast of Amar. He is a rebellion, a go getter, a lion that cannot be tamed for his traits; he speaks his mind and heart no matter what others think.( All always been misunderstood, be it by his father, mother or Megha and her family ); He is rigid when it comes to his principles. ( He did not leave his country even for his love ) ; Never compromise with his professionalism even if he has to pay a personal price for it.( He wanted to help Megha and her family but didn't' because all the evidences were against Amar's case), A very blunt man with a ultra honest tongue that offends more than pretends. An unorganised, vaguely dressed person with unkempt hair, loose shoestrings, hundreds of unwanted things carelessly stuffed in the pocket of jeans, have a mobile with a funny n weird ringtone, and not to forget a beard. Am I not forgetting many others too! I wonder how such a man would ever be able to cast a niche for himself in Megha's heart as a lover! Megha find a good friend and well wisher in Mohan but will she find a soul mate in him too. Will she ever be able to see the golden heard hidden beneath his not so appealing countenance. Will she be able to see true difference that gives Mohan an edge over Amar beside these perceivable things? He has remarkable patience to wait for other person to understand him. He patiently waited for Megha's approval for him. He patiently waited for Papaji's approval for permission. He knows exactly how to deal with person's emotion though he does not show it. In spite of he being misunderstood all the time his sense of handling people at situations is amazing, be it Adu, Nanhi, Renu, Papaji, his boss, Guru, Sanjay or tanu. If he has patience to wait, he also has endurance to let people be not so respectful towards him. He is beyond the greed of good self image. Life has not been very favourable to Mohan but he stick to his positive and happy outlook. Mohan is fearless when it comes to seek justice. He can go up to any extend to unveil corruption and lie. And that what probably gives him an edge over Amar. That's something Amar could never do. Amar knew about the corruption and the lives in danger because of it but he probably could not muster the courage to open his mouth in time. May be out of fear for his family or some other reason but he lost the opportunity to be bold and lost his life too. On the other hand Mohan is leaving no stone unturned to get justice for Amar and many lost lives. Will Megha ever understand this? Will she ever be able to value Mohan for what others never did apart Guru? Will she ever fall for her ever- giving, never -asking in- return friend? (The only thing he ask for is '"yaar chai la"). Will a day come when she step out of the shadow of a man who loved her with his life to accept the love of a man who love her with his soul...his whole being for the eternity?
Sorry friend for this long post...but these are just a few thoughts. I do not know if it is right to compare the two but I felt this when I saw expressions on Mohan's when papaji said - " Sabko aisa beta nahin milta' for Amar. I wanted to tell Mohan," Tumare papa shayad jindagi bhar kastoori doondhate rahe par kastoori toh hamesha se unke paas hi thi, unka beta mohan , par woh pehchaan nahin paaye."...
Mohan is like a musk which gives fragrance to whoever he touches but they do not value his worth.
