@dkfan...yaar, i can say that wat happened 2 nidhi happens in real life coz we all have come across situations when we take decisions impulsively and then when every one points fingers at it we tend to become less n less sure about our decision and start 2 question ourselves..kya yeh theek kia humne n so on... .

like tanu said ,baba's reaction was unexpected..and this has shaked her totally.. she feels responsible towards baba n is trying to do what he wants against her wishes..but its ashu who has to give her support otherwise she would crumble and so would d relationship..

@tanu,as for 180 degree turn ,she is in pressure yaar..so far ashu hasnt supported her openly...be it hospital(fired her), baba's heart attack and house issue(janab to gayab hi ho gaye the,uska tension alag se) ,mallu's home(silent observer)..he hasnt given her a chance or a reason to depend on him...y should she and most importantly on wat basis should she...

so my guess is ,the crux of this track is to highlight out the strong and determined character of ashu...

I think she is giving her family one chance as they seem to be too stubborn and she also knows that they have to go back to Lucknow at some point. She is trying to quietly make them understand her love and at the same time make them realize that this is not an infatuation that will disappear if she goes out of Lucknow.

She is also more confident about her love and Ashu's love for her. I think she knows that at the end of the day he will stand by her and not doubt her. The situation is reversed now, earlier when she fell in love with Ashu she was confident of her family's acceptance, but now with Mandira's entry in their lives, she has Ashu's confidence and acceptance but her family's rejection. Most importantly I think she is giving everyone, including herself some time to reflect on the situation and decide on how to proceed.
