RS's new show

Rajan Shahi is a powerhouse in the world of Indian television. At any point when the industry suffers from low TRPs, the man takes control and churns out shows that go on to create history. Remember? Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin (He was behind the camera) and Bidaai.

Currently, he is wowing the masses with his two brain pieces, namely Havan on Colors and Kuch To Log Kahenge on Sony Entertainment. And he is all set to go for the kill in the race of TRPs with his new offering on Imagine, Jamuna Paar. The show will be set in Delhi where the female lead will be a fashion designer and the male lead, an aspiring actor. The plot is loosely based on Ranvir-Anushka starrer flick, Band Baaja Baarat.

It has also been reported that the Amita Nangia has been signed to play the role of the lead's mother. However, if sources are to be believed, the makers are yet to cast the main leads.

Furthermore, a credible source informed that Jamuna Paar will hit the screens from 6 February 2012 at the 9pm slot. It will air five days a week.

We called up Rajan but he was stuck in a meeting, however, he went on to text, "Things are quite early now. Can't comment anything at this point."
