I don't entirely agree or disagree with Jeevika and Manvi's actions and reactions. They literally are extremes of extremes hence I find it hard to fathom how people can be so for one sister and against the other. Neither of them are flawless...

If we go back to the scene between Dadaji & Jeevika couple of months back where he had asked her what she would choose between her duty and love... Jeevika very firmly said that duty will always come first for her and she's always stood by that principle of hers. When she lashed out at Manvi for making Beeji angry, THAT was choosing duty over love. Today when she is stuck between her in-laws and Manvi, again she chooses her duty because that's the way it works for her. She constantly lives in that fear of disappointing others, her Beeji, chacha, Dadaji, Swamini and even Viren. Yet those silent treatments, glaring looks and the outbursts are reserved for Maanvi. To put it in the literal sense, Manvi is her love while her other relationships come with an obligation and a sense of duty. Some relations are such where liberties can be taken. When Jeevika called Manvi her soul, she said it because Manvi is a part of her. Jeevika's priorities haven't changed at all actually. She was always like this because Jeevika puts herself after all these people, her thoughts do not matter if they clash with her elders or her in-laws. The sisters are supposed to be one entity but this doesn't mean their thoughts have to be in sync with each other. It means what you do to one, you do to the other. In other words, it may seem Jeevika puts Manvi last but she is also doing the same to herself.

I won't comment on the precap till it airs tomorrow (it hurt to say the least) but after an extreme low, there will be an extreme high where once again Jeevika will be the one to shock everyone. Tomorrow she is telling Manvi to get out of the house but one day she will drag her back as a permanent resident 😛

Nothing to disagree with there as u are spot on! Both have their flaws so its not right to point one sister out and accuse her. Both have their faults but both are each others strengths.😊

But she doesn't see Manvi as her 'duty', she sees her as a part of her entity and no Jeevika doesn't owe herself any duty.

She has a duty so thats why she is scolding manvi to teach her to stop interfering and making matters worse. She scolded for Manvi's own good, nothing else.

Basically Jeevika being Jeevika had told Manvi to calm down and not to interfere but Manvi being Manvi can't help it and especially now when she knows that because of her Jeevika and Viren's life is in a turmoil. It's instinctive from both sides.

Neither of them are entirely correct but then who is??

I so agree with you! A person shouts at someone because they truly care. Jeevika knows she can say anything to Maanvi and Maanu wont judge her unlike the others. My mother always says that you shout at the person you love because you want them to be on the right track. Some might believe that Maanvi did nothing wrong but unfortunately J's in-laws believe she is at fault and Jeevi as a DIL, will try to strike a balance. Jeevika is young and newly married, you can't always expect her to be right so she will blame Maanvi because she can't say anything to her in-laws. Although Jeevi's words are going to hurt Maanvi, Jeevi will feel terrible but atleast she will be fulfilling her daughter-in-law duties. And plus after hurting Maanvi we will get to see Virat, Viren, Jeevika(later on) consoling Maanvi. Looking forward to Virman, Jeeja - Saali, and sister scenes!! :)

I agree with your post, but I aslo agree with Misha there. It's true that Jeevika sees Manvi as her entity, but being an older sister, she also has a duty towards Manvi. This is a lame excuse. It's like you are taking it up to cover Jeevika's mistake(s).

I knew would post amongst the sound of the keyboard. (sorry bad analogy couldn't think of anything better) But you have put what I have been trying to say perfectly. Both are complete extremes, yet people are so for one sister over another. They both have extreme flaws

Jeevika very firmly said that duty will always come first for her and she's always stood by that principle of hers. In other words, it may seem Jeevika puts Manvi last but she is also doing the same to herself. You have a way words. :D Could you imagine Jeevika speaking like this to anyone else apart from Maanvi. Like you said she sees her other relations as her duty and she never wants to disappoint any of them. Where as with Maanvi she is able to say what she actually feels, she doesn't have to keep it suppressed. I'm not sure about the priorities as after marriage your priorities do change, and Jeevika's has changed in the sense she now has to consider her husband her in-laws feelings as well as her sisters. But you right in saying that she always put her thought behind when it comes to elders opinions. The sisters do live within each other but their thoughts do not match and there not suppose to, their sisters there not clones of each other.

I won't comment on the precap till it airs tomorrow (it hurt to say the least) but after an extreme low, there will be an extreme high where once again Jeevika will be the one to shock everyone. Tomorrow she is telling Manvi to get out of the house but one day she will drag her back as a permanent resident 😛 Tomorrow will be interesting and we will be here, commenting but lets wait and see.

I will have to come back and finishing commenting myself because I actually have to go and collect my own sister.

Lame excuse!? I'm not excusing Jeevika's behaviour. If you read my post properly I did say that I don't agree with either sisters entirely. I'm just explaining how Jeevika works, it doesn't necessarily have to be 'correct' just like Manvi's impulsive actions get her in to trouble but that's how she is!

I dont need to cover anyone because fortunately I am able to look at both sides of the coin :)
