Yes, even I would have liked to see Devil's banner everytime I logged in. But inspite of everything, like what Deepa has already said, it would definitely anger Devil to be patronised in this way. She was an independent spirit and would have liked to see the banner up there solely on her own merit.
You made her a winner and she would be the happiest up there to see your banner coming up. You did a full justice to her banner, beleive me, except for me, none of the other mods knew that the banner was by devil because we were not exchanging the names of the members putting up the banner . Yet she got the highest points during evaluation along with yours.
Sometimes public opinion differ from evaluating body and everyone chose your banner. Please do not think that because DD's banner did not get as many votes meant you had not done justice to her banner.
I am sure she will bless your effort and she will always live on in our hearts. I know I will remember and miss whom I knew as Devil_Drivers for the rest of my life. I certainely will not need a banner to remind me of her persona and nor would she like it.
So, it will have to be the winning banner no 40, dedicated to Mahn786ch and Devil_drivers.
