Why is the Hindu religious getup so required for the villian?

How about when all these years they have depicted Christians as low caste people, prostitutes, bar dancers etc etc. Even today some of them are depicted like that, their names with be Rosy, Julie, Jenny. How about that? One should not mix religion with entertainment, they are both separate issues. And basically no matter what religion there are always good and bad people, such are human beings

I disagree. They only show Hindus, but cops, Chrsitains and muslims as the villian. Like now, you have a prob becoz they are insulting your religon, you feel that. But I diagree. Shows do depict at least a little bit of reality in them. And some Pundits tend to be bad and while others dont. The same applies to the other religons as well. However, I do sometimes feel the exagerrate too much with the villian thing concerning muslims. They would depict them wearing a really tight taweez and really poor rishawalla or even if he is rich, then he would most probably be a villian. And they usually show them doing justice to India and so disgracing thier own religon. I am a muslim and I have never gotten use to that. I am a die hard indian patroit and a muslim at the same time, and not like the ones depicited in the movies. But we cannot forget that, in all religons there are both good and bad people. As people we will get offended but thats the reliaty and we better face it. Besides, I dont think in ELAS they are trying to target hindus.
