The upcoming new tv shows have moved a step forward and have started to droll over the novel world. The latest is Shobha somnath ki from zee tv which is based on a mythological indian novel that was a appreciated work in novel world. The success of Muktibandhan which is an offering by colors that is based on novel muktibandhan a gujarati novel that claimed huge success is the source of inspiration for everyone and now Star plus latest prime time show Is pyaar ko kya naam dun that is becoming famous among the youth in its starting week is also based on a superhit and well acclaimed novel but though this time with a slight difference as the show is loosely based on the superhit international novel 'Pride and Prejudice' And 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen. Lets hope that these novels bring good trp's for channels and fun for the viewers to get hooked on their favourite show!!

Considering the fact that television is moving towards fresh stories though inspired by novel world is a good step to innovate the television world and appreciate the work of great writers!!

Veteran actors and their new innings!

The veteran actors gear themselves up for new shows which are mostly youth based with their senior touch that is must for a show to become strong on its entertainment front. Nowadays many veteran actors who have given their day and night to Indian television are making a comeback on small screen with challenging roles that gives the new show a boost to work. Recently Himani Shivpuri Who is a very respected name in television industry has made a come back with Colors show Sasural Simar Ka which focuses on new generation dreams and the marriage scenario which plays an important part in life. Shiv Subramanium Who is a famous writer and a veteran theatre actor had also made a powerful entry on television with a power pack performance in colors famous show Muktibandhan as I.M. Virani. Next in our list is Rajendra Gupta who did very well in ballika vadhu and is now back with star plus new show Is pyaar ko kya naam dun As the lead girl's grandfather who belongs to lucknow and is very rooted to its place with an ignited role for whom tradition and family are above all and similarily Pakaj Dheer who owns a big name in industry is also back with zee tv in Shobha Somnath ki as a Loving father and a powerful King.

The list is long and includes some best actors like Surekha Sikri, Apara Mehta , Sarita Joshi are the few names from list who are giving their best in today's generation shows and should say that these actors don't have to take competition from the new ones as they are giving competition to new generation in terms of acting. All the very best to these senior actors from Tele Prime Time Magazine Team for their new innings on television.

Thanx Sonali for the info. It truly is a great show. I have yet to see even one episode which can be said to be boring or dragging. Its really a very well done show, and I am glad it is being so well received by the public.

the same girl added another segment in the same issue of the aforementioned magazine.. so looks like this show has finally started grabbing eye balls and more recognition.. its immature to think that MB will ever be loved by the masses.. but its being counted as a pathbreaker.. and critical acclaim is coming its way.. Long overdue..

Quality speaks soft but strong

MB defo rocks coz it is a very well made serial. Frm the very onset the makers hv attempted to give a quality product. I remember even when the show hadn't started, I had read an article abt the grand set of MB keeping in mind tht the protagonist was to be shown as the 4th biggest industrialist of India. Nd truly Vaibhav Villa is shown as very classy nd elegant just like the soap. BTW just love the setting of the Bar area...design of a sunken treasure ship, being readied for upliftment...this thought just crossed my mind...maybe it's symbolic representing IMV who has hit the bottom morally nd CP being the pulley tht will lift him out of it.😉😆
Anyways the sets, the actors, the dialogues everything is top class. BTW undoubtedly it's a classy show watched by many, but lets not start being self-righeteous nd make snide comments abt others watching other soaps. To each her own.😉
