Haila, Guddu ke saath mere hosh udd gaye (My God, I lost my senses along with Guddu) 😆

Gardes, what to do? I'm conflicted on this pyaar business and you seem to have deserted me. Lol.

I'm not going to lie, I watched the tie scene before I went back and watched the rest of the episode.😆 I though Guddu was an enigma the entire episode.

First:
Confusion on the rooftop. He himself can't figure out why he is freaking out and feeling anxious. Then, the whole conversation with Guddu. I'm not reading too much into what Guddu said in that I don't think it goes with his actions... I think that's the way he sees life not necessarily how he will ACTUALLY do things in the future. Like he says that you shouldn't keep things inside and you should let all your anger out... lol we know Guddu does this really well but he's going to have to change the way he does this with Runjhun because he keeps yelling at her for no reason. He says that you have to keep a woman in her place and keep your feelings to yourself. He yells at Runjhun to keep her in her place but he feels bad now when he has done that and gone around trying to redeem himself. I feel like maybe it was a way of giving insight into how Guddu thinks a husband and wife's relationship should be. The only thing I think was important about his statement was that you should keep your feelings to yourself, and I'm pretty sure Guddu will not tell Runjhun a peep; however, Runjhun is pretty good at reading people so I'm not sure it'll be something he'll need to voice once the pyaar business actually happens.

I was also confused when Guddu looked to the side when Bantu said that he (Bantu) is not smart and fair. Was he smiling because he thinks Bantu is being funny or because Guddu thinks he doesn't have that problem with Runjhun?

Second:
Going to the room and going to sleep. I don't know if he just forgot that Runjhun was asleep but it kind of seemed like he didn't give it a second thought. Maybe starting to accept Runjhun as a wife? He just walked into the room and crawled into bed. He doesn't glance toward Runjhun but I feel like he didn't think it was a big issue of her being in bed. (Also thought it was well done by the director because the two of them just crossed a really big bridge and it was done so nonchalantly) But, then he could just have been so lost in thought he just didn't even think about it?

Third: Morning Scene
He felt terrible about Runjhun - also saw the look on Runjhun's face that she thought he did it on purpose. "Tumhri baat alag hai" (Your story is different). What a great line. 😃 See he's already deviating from his advice to Bantu on keeping your wife in your control. Old Guddu could have just yelled at her from waking him up like that and that he didn't realize it was her and that would be end of story. The guilt eats him up enough that he cuts himself shaving.

Fourth: Tie and bedroom scene
As much as I loved the bedroom scene (😆), I feel like it was more smoke and mirrors to throw us off track. Guddu shows concern and tells her to put medicine on it and also apologizes. He's mirroring Runjhun - she apologized to him for lying and he responds by apologizing as well. Notice, he never apologized for yelling at her after the food debacle... he only said he was wrong and deserved punishment. It seems like he really listens to whatever Runjhun says to him and starts to understand it. And it seems that Runjhun has to take the first step and only then will Guddu mirror and respond with the same to her. I'm not sure how that's going to go in the future and whether the two will switch their roles. It reminds me of the mandir scene where Runjhun led Guddu up the stairs and then Guddu took the lead and led her up the stairs to the entrance of the mandir. I can't say that I didn't enjoy the apology-but-I-have-a-request bit where she puts forth a request and he puts another one as well. I feel like this will be there cute thing later on when they are happy.😆 As for the "Guddu ke hosh udd gaye" wali baat (thing that caused Guddu to lose his senses), I feel like part of the reason he was so surprised that she said he looked good is because he knows she doesn't view him in that way. I know I keep going back to that "Ghin" (disgust) line that Runjhun had said to Guddu pre-marriage but I feel like that is something big that is still at the back of Guddu's mind. As Runjhun starts to show that she likes who Guddu is (I said like here not love) I feel like he will then allow himself to fall for her.

All in all, I don't think it's pyaar. Bee had written a post about thoda sa pyaar hua hai... and I think I see that line as being flirting. There has been a little bit of flirting but neither of them is ready to fall for the other. If this was the case, Runjhun wouldn't have reacted so strongly to waking him and finding Guddu in bed with her. I think Guddu is starting to like Runjhun as a friend and as he sees Runjhun start to like him he will start to fall for her. The two of them really need to start liking each other first - Guddu has hated Runjhun and Runjhun has hated Guddu. Both need to see the other as a changed person - someone who is worthy of the other.

Lol, this ended up being longer than I had intended.

You've made some very interesting observations about Guddu, I really really loved the tie scene. It was flirting and being nice to each other all the way. I also thought they loked like this was normal for them, in the sense that they did this everyday, talk to each other, rhunjhun helped get guddu ready for work etc. Made for a super cute scene.

My jaw dropped when I saw the bedroom scene last night and today. I had really wished it was a conscious decision guddu made or even a drunk one. Nope he just didn't see Runjhun, he just saw a bed was tired and fell asleep. Yes, they did cross a big bridge but are they going to go backwards? Runjhun was clearly uncomfortable. Forthcoming episodes will definitely be interesting in terms of this step that they have shown.

Long posts are good...in some ways they are cathartic.

For those who see pyaar developing between the two they are correct. For those who say that there's not pyaar yet between the two, they are correct as well. LOL How's that for diplomacy.

The reason I say that is because terms such as love, faith, friendship, beauty, truth, and such are very abstract and are very much perspective based. It depends solely on how you as an individual define love ( I think this was what Bee was implying) and in some ways it depends on how Guddu and Runjhun define love.

Love in itself manifests in different manners and in different forms, you have selfish love, selfless love, you have love that can be objective and then you can have love that is very much subjective. In a similar way love between a man and woman is different, and in itself can be of many types. This is what makes relationships so difficult to define withing a static realm and makes emotions complicated.

Regardless of whether we believe that Guddu and Runjhun love each other there are certain facts for sure...they are beginning to get used to each other. This in it's simplest way put is that they've learned how to exist together.

His scene with Buntu to me doesn't have key underlying meanings. To me the things that were important in that scene was:
1. the fact that Guddu has begun to consider Runjhun's family as his.
2. Guddu says that one must always keep their anger bottled (this as you mentioned Guddu already does)
3. Guddu saying that things that you feel, keep it guarded (I think Guddu already does this too. To him emotions such as love equate to vulnerability, and he's always kept his true emotions in check)

As for Guddu looking away, that to me was more of a "eye roll" moment because he's seen Buntu act around his wife and he truly doesn't seem to have a mind of its own, and places too much importance on Billo. More like he's amused at the fact.

The Going to sleep incident...Guddu didn't seem to even glance in Runjhun direction. It was like he was tired, he wanted to sleep. the bed was available. As simple as that. Guddu isn't one to put too much thoughts into his action and it honestly felt like he hadn't even considered it.

The morning, Runjhun seemed scared to me. Like shocked, "what just happened here" moment. Her breathable sigh of relief comes from the fact that she realizes that Guddu is truly asleep and probably just slept on the bed without thinking rather than him trying something funny.

This to me is that while Runjhun is consciously comfortable (I think that's a safe word to use) with Guddu, unconsciously her mind is still at unease. At the back of her mind she's still hesitating. It's like in abuse victims who have been beaten they react to even the slightest indication of threat pretty strongly. Someone might raise their hand or do a sudden movement and they pull back, like a knee jerk reaction, and while Guddu hasn't abused her. The incident with the locked room, makes Runjhun pulls away as a knee-jerk reaction, because in some ways she is still afraid subconsciously. If she's prepared for it...it's not a problem but sudden ones like the morning throw her off.

Guddu's guilt on slapping Runjhun was so apparent. He didn't even realize it was Runjhun (This to me also is telling that Guddu doesn't really seem to consider where he's sleeping, like he doesn't give it much thought. He sleeps in the first comfortable spot, hence the disregard that Runjhun is on the bed really)

As for the bedroom and tie scene...I don't see scenes like this as smokes and mirrors just thrown in for the viewers (I'll agree that viewers like such scenes, plays some part, but not completely) . It's very much like life...where you have the good moments and the bad moments. It's like when you go out with a friend on a night out and forget about the deadlines and troubling matters. You're just relaxing and having a good time before reality strikes. Similarly for Guddu and Runjhun these scenes are the simple moments of their relationship where they are not thinking of the challenge, or other problems. It's not a lovey dovey moment to me but rather moments that they are civil and comfortable to each other. When I say not lovey dovey, I'm not trying to say that there isn't love present or there is love present, but rather that they aren't scene just thrown in to distract viewers.

There Guddu is noticing and surprised that Runjhun took the stool to actually help him, and Runjhun seems embarrassed by the attention. To me what's important in these scene is not like Guddu and Runjhun stare at each other like they're lost in love. There seems to be silent understanding in place. Ofcourse when they see each others hurts/wounds they come back to reality. I think they way they simultaneously look at each others cheeks kind of indicates that they are attuned in a way to each other. Regardless of whether they feel love or not, they are becoming friendly with each other.

Runjhun's condition to Guddu, as soon as Guddu says he's willing to listen her expression changes to one of genuine concern when she tells him to give the interview properly. Then Guddu's condition of helping him learn to do the tie (when he actually mentions the condition, Runjhun looks worried like he's going to ask something she might not be able to do...(again subconsciously she seems to pull back). Then he's embarrassed by his request so he adds he's not going to wear clothes like this again, followed by Runjhun's casual admittance that he looks good. He's surprised because like you partly said that he doesn't consider himself like that in Runjhun's eyes (I know you mentioned her saying "ghin" which is possibly still at the back of his mind) but also to Guddu any form of acceptance surprises him...like when she placed the hand on his shoulder while riding the bike, when Guddu's dad placed his hand on Guddu's shoulder, when she defended him. These moments of acceptance to him are not what he's used to and it's why he has those reactions...

And you thought you wrote a long post...the ramblings here are galore...😆

Great post, Wafah!! 🤗

I completely agree with what you wrote. I love the fact they are getting in tune with each other. I know smoke and mirrors😆😆😆 is not the right phrase, but my expectations go up with these scenes. You know someone bad is going to happen to deflate the happy moment.

I have to take it like you do and just look like a good moment. 😊 I hope for much more of these moments and really want to see Runjhun start to like Guddu i.e. comfortable when he's close to her, etc.

Aiyo Rani, I feel like I am on a roller coaster. Just when I thought the eye locks and the secretive smiles are heading in the direction of love, Runjhun's reaction with Guddu's arm around her waist was a jolt for me. Her shock at being (unintentionally) slapped was also a setback for me from yesterday. The tie incident was again like Runjhun forgiving him for his infractions. I think the writers are intentionally keeping their relationship in the grey area.
I wrote couple days ago that this is a dating period in their lives. LOVE is far from the horizon. They are getting to know each other. There are surprises for both of them. Runjhun is working on eliminating his negatives and Guddu is working on discovering her positives. But the issues remain.
But like you I am confused too. But they are heading for a showdown that will make them work things out between them.

More like this. LOL! 🤪🤓

Sigh, I know I should stop commenting on this love-shove 😆 business but I love hearing all of your thoughts on this as well. It makes watching and following Bhagonwali so much more fun and entertaining.😊

Edit: Forgot to write that I agree with everything that you wrote. I love this prem kahani (love story). 😍

wafah u said it all..and so perfectly 👍🏼
I get the feeling they are starting to be friends. He is meeting her halfway as is she..she was so excited telling him about its all right to speak in hindi...What i have noticed is that she is giving him so much confidence, especially today's episode when she complemented him...I mean what type of a man would not just go out and conquer the world when told by his wife he looked good...G got confidence today from his wife, Runjhun Shukla. I love that song na tum jano na hum(kyon hota hai pyar)...basically love is a feeling and when one falls in love, the exact time and date are not known..sometime when its love on the first sight-maybe time is knwn...
but its an ehsaas, it could have always been there...or it could just happen...
