Weekend Retreat 5

Scene 1

The warm rays of the sunlight pass through the window glass shield, slightly messaging his forehead. Viren pulled his blanked up to avoid the warmth hitting his eyes.

Viren! Ut jao , 8 baj gaye hain. Kaam per nahi jana ?

Niveditha who was dressed up, stood besides his bed hold a tray of coffee.

Viren stirred and pulled of his covers from his face. His hair was disheveled and eyes barely opened.

Nivi meray saamnay hona thum… he asked speaking while trying to stifle a yawn with his knuckles in his mouth.

Nivi shook her head with a smile

Han hun, abh ut jao.. she said.

Viren sat up and opened his eyes, to find the most radiant face in front of him.

Niveditha, jara paas aao na.. said viren

Niveditha raised her eyebrows skeptically but went closer..

Viren took the tray from her hands and placed it towards his left,

Meray paas baito na.. saath coffee peethay hain.. he said

Viren …niveditha started

Mujhe kaafi kaam hai , said viren finishing her sentence ..

Han mujhe pata hai, thumnay bhi na ek hi dialogue ko ratta mara hai.. kafi kaam hai, kafi kaam hai, viren complained to her , putting up an angry face.

Niveditha enjoyed his childlike stubbornness, she shook her head , deafeated and sat besides him.

With every praise from his mouth, her nostrils flared with annoyance ,

Viren.. apni tareef karna band karogay aur point per aaogay ki nahi? She retorted annoyed.

Acha acha , Ek plan banaya hai. Bataun? He asked , with his eyes lit up brightly, looking directly into her eyes.

Niveditha nodded her head…

Viren then took her hands into his, and brought her closer towards him and started whispering something in her ears.

Niveditha's smile brightened with every moment ,

Vah viren , ye tho vakay main hi, awesome, brilliant, mindblowing plan hai.. she said moving away from hima nd getting up lekin thumnay ye baat meray kaan main kiyun kahin? Yahan tho koi nahi hai.. she asked him

Ithnay acha idea socha hai maine, kuch tho consellation prize honi chahiye na, thumhari nazdeeki sey zyada acha , aur kya ho saktha hai , he replied with a smirk on his face.

Viren thum bhi .. she said with a line of frustration appearing on her forehead but she could not suppress a smile on her face…

Abh mujhe vakay main hi jana hai., thum fresh hoker please neechay jaldi aajana, she said.

She then turned around, and walked away from the room leaving viren gazing at her …

As soon as she disappeared from his vision he shook his head and smacked himself lightly on the back of his head with his hand ,

Abh , plan ko execute kernay ka time hai, romance ka nahi, he continued talking to himself . He then got off the sofa, threw the pillow and blanket on the bed and left to the showers.

Scene 2

The dining table was set for the breakfast, with bhupat rai siting at the head of the table on his wheel chair. Yashodhara was sitting on his right, putting butter on the bread. Sidharth sat on his left with divya standing besides him, pouring hot tea into his cup.

Thanks Divya, he said

Abh thumb hi bait jao he pulled the chair besides him backward, making space for her to sit.

Ma main aaj thora late aaunga, so please wait nahi kijiyega aur time per sojayiyega.. Sidharth said to Vandana.

Kiyun? She asked

Kaam.. he replied politely,

Lekin sidharth, project to start honay main abhi tho 2 hafthay ka waqt hai na? bhupat interrupted.

Han dadaji , lekin main sabhi departments ki supervision personally kerna chahtha hun. Aur viren bhi ye project join ker raha hai tho usko bhi meri zaroorat ho sakthi hai, sidharth answered to with bhupat rai nodded in agreement.

Niveditha, thum bhi bait jao, said vandana kindly

Viren aa jaye, chachiji.. she said lowering her voice and gazing towards the other end of the room

Just then viren entered and sat on the table besides vandana

Good morning everyone, he said cheerfully

Everyone in the room smiled at his greeting and returned it back graciously.

Mom dad kahan hai he asked out loud?

Voh bhi athay hi hongay, vandana replied and soon enough both chanchal and jawahar also took their seats.

Ok good , I have an announcement , called out viren

Everyone looked up at him.

Oh come on big bro! one week road trip! Aur project tho 2 week thak commense bhi nahi honay wala. Looking at his readiness sidharth laughed out loud

Then a sudden thought came to his mind,

Lekin viren, dadaji travel kaise ker sakthay hain , han voh teek ho gaye hain lekin kya travel kerna unkay lliye sahih hoga?!Sidharth asked seriously

Bhai, aap viren sood say deal ker rahe hain, aisa ho hi nahi saktha ki main kuch plan karun aur usmay koi kharabi ho…

Viren said pulling his collar up..

They all followed him outside including bhupat rai who was helped by sidharth.

Out stood in front of their pathway a beautiful, huge, luxurious Recreational Vehicle.

Everyone's eyes lit when they saw the RV.

Our one week Dream Vehicle , Viren exclaimed out loud!

Main aap sabko isko tour detha hun and I am sure, ki issey dekhnay kay baad , kisi ko bhi ayetraz nahi hoga, so big bro, pehlay aap,

Step right up! he pulled sidharth inside , who was followed by the rest of the family except dadaji who stood outside with lalji smiling at viren's excitement and feeling content , that at last his family had to started to get the feel of togetherness.

An all comfort master bathroom

The kitchen , he urged everyone to follow him

Divya started clapping at his wonderful idea, and everyone agreed in unison that they are willing to go on the one week road trip

Even yashodhara who was skeptical about bhupat's travel saw that the entire vehicle had enough space to fit a sports car , agreed that indeed viren had come up with a good idea.
