Anjali and Muskaan getting ready for hospital when they watch Nikki is sweating and mumbling something in half sleep. They get tensed and wake her up, Nikki get up with a jerk all sweat Muskaan replied "Relax Nikki, its happen specially after when everything is going good in your life than fear of something will go wrong grip you. Don't worry it's happen when you start moving with new relation". Nikki is not tense about her relation with Sid but about last night incident happen in hospital. Nikki throws her blanket, get up immediately from bed and go inside the bathroom. Anjali replied surprisingly "What happen to her?" Muskaan also tilt her head as she negation.
Anjali, Muskaan and Nikki all went into same car to the hospital and when they reached at front gate of hospital they found the huge crowd of public and media. The hospital gates are closed in order to stop public and media to enter but they get entry after showing their ids cards. Anjali exclaim "What is happening? Why there is so much crowds outside hospital?" Muskaan replied by roaming her face around from car's window "May be any celebrity comes in our hospital that's why?" After enter in the gate they find many police cars and jeep standing outside hospital main gate, they park their car and steps out. Nikki just watching everything tensely and follow her friends silently. Muskaan asked "Is this same hospital we comes daily" and watch polices officer roaming in the whole hospital. Anjali replied "yeah, even I thinking that" and spot their whole gang standing their.
Anjali ask not anyone specific "What is happening guys?" Atul replied "Anjali you know what happen?" and Anjali irritably ask "Atul if I knew than why did I ask?" Atul impress "Wow Anjali how intelligent you are that why I love you" and shy on his own words. Armaan roll his eyes "Stop it champ!" Muskaan asked "uffo. Is anybody going to tell me what happening?" Ridhimma answer "There is one patient who is big social worker, died in our hospital and police said he murdered not died. So investing is going on, all the seniors are inside with police. Police is interrogating everyone around here, patient was very popular I guess". Armaan continue "Yes, he had done a lot for the society and people, that's why there is crowd of his supporter outside and media is also interested to find out who killed this social worker". Anjali ask "But who can kill him in the hospital, what anyone get to kill him". Rahul replied "See he is social worker, so many times he spoke about the people who at higher authority and got against the influence people as well. So he had many enemies as well in his personal life, may be anyone of them did that or tried through others".
Everyone is chatting about it outside but Nikki eyes are searching for Abhi in order to ask him about her patient. As all staff are busy in themselves when they heard strict male voice loud "Tell me why you did this? Who else are with you?" All snaps out from their talks and move forward in the direction of voice, Nikki is not able to watch what is going inside the cabin due to her short height. She pushes the people sides to get in front and watch the view, she stunned to watch Abhi standing in front of police officers and answering his question. One inspector asks from the staff standing outside by reading one file who is Dr. Nikita Malhotra". Nikki get shiver to hear inspector stern voice but steps forward "I am Dr. Nikita Malhotra". Abhi looks at her, Inspector looks above his file "So you were Shekhar Talpade's doctor" that makes Nikki understand all this investigation going on in regarding his patient.
Nikki nods hesitatingly but nervousness and fear grip her strongly, Inspector asks "You were on holiday yesterday. May I ask why?" But before Nikki replied Sid comes forward, put his hand around her shoulder "Yesterday was our engagement. So we had off from duty". Inspector brow raises "Oh congratulation. If you don't mind me asking where were you last night?" This time also Armaan replied before Nikki "Look inspector we had having a party last night". Inspector ask again "Till At what time" Ridhimma answer "Round about 12:00am". Inspector interrogate "And after that" and Sid replied "Me and Nikki left for the airport to see off my mom who was leaving for London. Than I left Nikki at her home round about 1:30 or 2:00 am. I don't remember the exact time". Inspector smilingly replied "That's mean you are alone after that" but Anjali interrupt this time "No. Me and Muskaan were there at her home for night stay. We talked a 1 or 1/2 hr than went to sleep and came hospital in the morning".
Inspector smilingly said to his constable "Pandey, see how important friends are in life. Even I am not able to give so many proof that I am with my wife last night" and laugh hysterically on his own words. Inspector smilingly asks "Good Dr. Nikita, all my questions are answer by your friends. Don't worry its general interrogation. You should be happy to hear that we find the prime suspect in murder case of Shekhar Talpade". With that Inspector turns his head toward Abhi, pull him by his hand in front of whole hospital staff "Dr. Abhimanyu Modi, cold bloody murderer of such a good social worker Shekhar Talpade". All staff gets shocked to hear that, Nikki standstill like someone takes out life from her body and inspector whisper in Abhi's ear "Your staff must know about deed of the head of Sanjeevani. Right". Abhi lower his head in order to avoid the eyes of his staff on him, but before inspector insult him more in front of staff Nikki interrupt irritably "How can you suspect him that he is a murderer?"
Inspector turn toward her open mouth "Well Dr. Nikita, we get proof against him like medicine slip with his sign, one witness nurse who he sent to bring the medicine from store and his fingerprints on injection bottle and many other". Nikki states "It means there is some problem in medicine itself, how can you blame a doctor for murder". Inspector eyes get widen from her defense "Well I checked all medicine of the box from which that medicines is given, all are positive. There is only box of that medicine as it rarely prescribe drug which is bring in Sanjeevani as his permission and Abhimanyu Modi might given a overdose of it to patient". Nikki retorts angrily "You can't blame anyone in your suspicion" but Armaan clutch her hand to stop her from further saying "Nikki, let inspector do his job. He knows what he is doing".
Inspector calmly replied "Listen to your friend Dr. Nikita, don't interfere in police investigation. The doctor who doesn't attend any patient what was he doing in patient room late night. Why he had given injection to the patient of other doctor without consulting and calling them. More of that he accept all the charges on him that he had given injection to the patient with a purpose of murder". Inspector last word shocked the life out of her, but Armaan clutch her strongly from both of his hand in order to stop her slamming down on the floor. Nikki look at Abhi, her eyes filled with tears, her breathe becomes shallow as she can't able to breathe, fear grip her whole body and her nervous get numb. Inspector asks Abhi "Come Dr. Modi lets frisk your cabin" and Abhi silently follows him after giving last glance to Nikki who watching him tearfully.
As soon as Abhi disappear from her eyes she jerk Armaan's hand, follow him and all her friends follow her. She and all her friends stand outside Abhi's cabin, where all police officers and constables searching something in his cabin. All officers maelstrom his cabin, while Abhi saying again and again "What are you searching for? This all are very important hospital files, don't throw it. What are you doing? I have accepted my sin than what are you looking for?" But none pay any heed on him, Inspector finds the girl's pendent in small box, he takes out and asks "What is this? Dr. Modi, you didn't tell me that you have hobbies like that". Abhi steps forward to take it from him "It is none of your use" but before he takes it Inspector through it outside his cabin. He march toward the door to pick it up but inspector signal constable who standing beside him to hold him. Constable stops him to move by clutching both his hand behind his back in manacle but Nikki bends to pick it up in her hands and finds that it's her pendent which she lost.
Nikki questionably looks above the pendent on her hand to him, he lower eyes than looks away from her. Abhi asked again "Will you please tell me what you are looking in my cabin" but before inspector reply his fellow officer informs him that they didn't find anything. Inspector turns toward him and whisper closely to him "I didn't get one thing when you planned the murder why you left so many clues of your crime. You can't be that fool after all you are running this big hospital. You not even tried to run away as if you are waiting for us to come and arrest you. We police didn't have to solve the case as it already given us as solved one that I am not able to digest it". Abhi just avoid his question "Where I have to go with you now?" Inspector just passes his smirk to him and turned while Abhi looks towards the staff specially Nikki standing outside his cabin watching him in handcuff.
Nikki with teary eyes is just about to enter in the cabin to confront inspector but Abhi shot his angry eyes on her to dare her not to come inside for his rescue. Inspector told constable to hide Abhi face with black cloth, constable place it on his face, Nikki moves forward but Armaan stops her by placing his hand on her shoulder, before Nikki can think and do inspector drags Abhi through his hand which handcuff behind him and pull him downstairs outside the hospital premises. The crowd and media which is standing outside for so long are gather around the gates, crowd start protesting against hospital and media start clicking pictures of Police dragging Abhi outside. Nikki and all staff follows them outside, Nikki's friends surrounds her so that she didn't breaks down to show that.
One media person enquire inspector about the case "Did police succeed in find the real culprit?" Inspector replied "Yes we did it. Here he is, the real culprit" and pull the Abhi with his hand. Media person asked again "Can we know who he is? We want to click one photo of your with the culprit to publish the news that police of Mumbai is very fast in his job". Inspector gets excited "Really my photo comes in front of the newspaper ". Media person replied with a smile "Yes, we want to show how brave police officer we have in our police department". Inspector takes out a black cloth from Abhi's face and pose with him to get clicked by media and again put the black cloth on his face. Abhi's humilation becomes a center of attration to everyone and people marching toward him to beat the life out of him. The crowd is handle by police gaurds who becomes insane to find that Abhimanyu killed their beloved one social worker Shekhar Talpade. Constable immediately settle Abhi in the police van to save him from the crowd anger, all the police cars and van which standing outside hospital are accelerate to leave with police van in which Abhi is sitting with their usual siren.
Nikki slumps down on hospital stairs after watching police taking away Abhi with them. Nikki's friends tried to console her by putting their hands but she shriek them away, she gets up by wiping her tears and runs away from there.

Nikki run away fast and slumps down near bench in the park by holding the bench armrest and cry bitterly by looking above the sky. Jiah comes from her behind and stand in front of her eyes by crossing her arms against her chest and watch her silently. Nikki notices her, looks at her with teary eyes and gets up from her place while wiping her tears from her cheeks and chin. Jiah gives smirked smile "Now who you are showing your fake tears, when there is no one around who wipes it". Nikki just turns her gaze from Jiah "Jiah just leave me alone. I don't want to talk anyone" but Jiah again comes and stand in front of her. Jiah angrily ask "Why you always have to come between us? Why don't you just leave us to live in peace?" Nikki looks questionably to her "Which us you are talking about Jiah? The one person whom you left half past night in the middle of the road for dying. Truth is that you never loved him Jiah".
Jiah annoyingly replied "Oh so Abhi had told you that but I didn't do it purposely. I never want to harm him in anyway but I just want that he didn't leave the city for that stupid research project. If he left than I had to left with him to go on that creepy place, that's why I tried to steal that research file so that he didn't leave the place. I thought he was busy in surgery and in the meanwhile I stole the file and get out from there but Abhi found that file was stolen. I got scared that's why I left the file in thinking that may be he stopped following me after that but no he kept following me. Than he took left turn, I inhaled to relax myself but he stand in front of my car. I got scared out of my life that if he knew about my identity than he never going to talked to me, the only way left for me that I accelerated my car and run away from there.
He was standing in front of my car and approaching toward me, I thought if I accelerated my car full speed than he moved away to save himself and gave me way to run away. But he didn't move and my car hit him, I stepped out from my car to check him and I saw him bleeding from top to bottom. No one could judge from his condition whether he could survive or not". Nikki shakes her in negation "So you not able to judge whether he was going to survive or not. That's why you left him for dying". Jiah scream "I had no other option left, if I took him with me and he died than I got arrested in case of his murder and if he didn't died than he came to know who was behind his accident. In any way I was at lost, so I left from there in hope that some other would come to help him out". Nikki pass smirk "Wow, what reason you have for your crime?" but Jiah counter her back.
Jiah ask "First look at yourself before raising your finger on me, didn't you do the same today which I done at that time. You also left him to suffer alone didn't you?" Jiah remarks broken Nikki from inside and she has no answer for her question, Nikki crying by keeping her mouth mum but Jiah continue "It is easy to blame others but have you had notice yourself once. You and Abhi blaming me to ruin his life and career but what I did was an accident but you two. He is ruining his career, his life and even himself because of you which he achieved with so much difficulty after being ruined once. You silently watching him to taking your blame on his head, Didn't you left him in the middle to suffer alone? How can you both blame me for that when you both are doing the same? He loves his image and reputation to the core and today he put that same image and reputation on stack baecuase of you. The person who never loved anyone beyond his ego is destroying himself for you. What black magic you had done on him?" Jiah left from there in leaving Nikki devastated, heart broken and annoyed with herself.

Nikki comes to meet Abhi in jail, Abhi get shock to hear from constable that someone comes to meet him. Abhi looks at entrance and realized that none other than Nikki comes here to meet him. Nikki taking each step towards him in roaming her eyes all around and thinking that this place is not at all Abhi's type. She knows that Abhi's is very particular about hygiene but here everything are just set to make his life hell. Abhi ask with from concern "Nikki, why have you come here?" Nikki diverts her attentions from surroundings and looks at him with teary eyes.
Nikki's keep looking at him with teary eyes, she has so many questions to ask but she not able to finds words for them and from where to ask. Abhi takes his hands from cell's bar, cups her face and wipe her tears from his thumb "I am fine Nikki. You need not to have worry about me". Before Nikki's put her hand above him, he withdraws it and put it on cell's bar and says with lower eyes "You don't have to come here". Nikki puts her hand on his hand and asks with teary eyes, shaking voice "Why you did this? Why? Who had told you to take my blame on yourself?" Abhi puts other hand on hers and squeezes "You hadn't done anything, throws this thought out of your mind. Nikki, You swear me that you are not going to tell this anybody". Before Nikki argue Abhi ask "You want me to break my swear" and Nikki breaks "No'" to hear that, her head rest on his hand which covering her.
Abhi makes her head look above "Than do as I am saying. Go home; don't talk anyone about this and one more thing you will not going to come here next time". Nikki argues "No, I am not going to do anything as per your choice. You can't force me to do anything". Abhi pleadingly replied "Nikki, I am asking you something for the first time". Nikki irritably replied "Don't play game with me. You always make people to do work accordingly as per your wish whether by ordering them, by threatening them and by emotionally blackmail like you doing this time". Abhi grins and said "You had swear me that you are not going to tell anyone about it and you will not going to come here next to meet me. You are going to do this two for me, if you ever really love me". Nikki replies "Fine, I am going to do it as per your wish" and Abhi smilingly replied "I know that you never let me down". Nikki thinks in her mind "What you think Dr. Modi, you are very smart but you forget I am smarter than you. You still didn't exactly know What Nikita Malhotra is?"
Constable comes to inform her that her meeting time is over, Abhi said "Take care of yourself" and Nikki gives him glance and wonder "I am not going to leave you Abhi at any cost. I am not like Jiah, I will not let you suffer alone". With that she leaves from there and Abhi keep watching her with longing until she disappear from his eyes

All Nikki's friends are at Armaan's home including Sid, all worried about Nikki as from morning incident they don't have any news about her. Since afternoon there is heavily raining, Nikki's phone is switch off from morning and now night has come to scatter its darkness. They don't able to understand where to find Nikki, who they contact to enquire about her as she doesn't have anyone except them. They left the note on her home as well to come at their place or contact them.
All are roaming in the room in order to get any news of her, Sid is trying to call her on mobile, Atul and Rahul busy in contacting hospital staff if they knows anything about her. Armaan is all restless, not able to concentrate on anything. Nikki enters in the room all wet from top to bottom. All notice her entering, Armaan worriedly ask "Where have you been since morning? We all are so worried about you. You didn't even think once about us to tell where you are and how you are". But Nikki didn't pay any heed to Armaan and keep walking toward Sid. Nikki stands in front of him, her tears mixed with drops of rain "I want to talk to you Sid".
Nikki slowly pulls the ring from her finger and places it on Sid's palm and reply with lower eyes "I am sorry. I don't think I am apt for you. Its better if we only remain friends than any other relation". All get shocked to hear that, Armaan tries to move but Ridhimma hold his wrist to stop him from interfere between them. Nikki looks at him and finds his gaze on the ring which is resting on his palm. She waits for him to ask or say something but he quietly keeps watching it. As long as Nikki knew Sid, he has blabber mouth who always keeps talking even in the front person whoes not interesting. He is silent today, Nikki think it's not the right time to tell him about Abhi and herself as he is not able to digest this one. Nikki turns and moves away from him but Sid weekly ask "Do you love Abhimanyu?"
All get more shock to hear this including Nikki who turns immediately at his abrupt question and look at him with widened eyes but Sid has emotional and determine look.

Sid again asked determinedly "Tell me Nikki, you love Abhimanyu Modi right" but Nikki didn't answer him and lower her eyes in order to avoid his gaze on her. He huskily replied "I know you do. That's why you are hiding your eyes with me, it's true that love can't be hide for long. I am not that fool as you all think about me. Today how you react on his going jail is make it oblivious to me, even any stupid can guess from it". He eyed all Nikki's friend as well who are also start avoiding his eyes, Armaan nervously say "Sid..." but Sid interrupt "Common Armaan stop making me now, I know all of you know about it but none of you feel important to told me about this". All look at ground with shame, Sid shakes his head with fake smile "You guys keep encouraging me that Nikki likes me, she hates Abhimanyu and all'." Sid leaves the Armaan's home in devastated state and Nikki follows him outside.
Sid goes outside, sits in his car so that he'll drive away far from them but before he accelerate, Nikki open the car door and sit beside with him. Nikki asks "Will you please drop me at home?" Sid looks at her confusingly, accelerates the car and drives to her home. Sid said "Here is your home" but Nikki asks "Will you please have a coffee with me". Sid irritably says "Nikki'" but Nikki urges him again "please" , Sid is not able to fight back as he can't say no to her. Nikki brings two cups of steamy coffee and place one opposite him "Tell me how it is?" Sid takes a sip "you want to talk to me on that how this coffee is tastes?"
Nikki smiles "No, I know whatever I offer you right now don't taste good to you" and she becomes serious "I know Sid I hurt you, you have right to angry with me or fight with me. But I know you well you can't be angry or fight with anyone that's why I am more concern about you. Generally people gets angry and fight to overcome their pain and sorrow but you are not like that. I am feeling more guilty because you are not reacting the way you should, why you so good to me Sid". Sid keeps mum at Nikki questions, Nikki stand from her comforter, walk towards window with cup of coffee in her hand, stand there and look at rain "Yes it is true that I love him in spite of the fact that he is married. I know its sound wrong but it is not in my control. None of my friends like him at all, actually I also against him like them when he entered in Sanjeevani. I hate him because he is rude, arrogant, and insensitive but I didn't know when, how I fell in love with him. Even I am not able to make my friend understand about this, I hide the truth of Abhi being married to them as I knew they will never allow me to be with him. I can't explain you my feelings which i am not able to explain myself also uptill now, he becomes like bad habbit for me that impossible to leave. That's why Armaan stopped talking to me when you came to Sanjeevani and I found a new friend in you whom I needed at that time".
Nikki comes and sits next to him and Sid silently listen to her "I am really happy to found you as my new friend, you bring Armaan back into my life and with that all my friends also came to me. Than you propose me in front of everyone, I didn't understand what I could say to you, I felt like I lost my friend. At that time I had mixed emotions and feelings. My friends know and trust you, they told me that you are best for me. This time my friend Armaan didn't want me to do the same mistake which I did in past. There was no way for me and Abhi to be together again and no reason left for me to reject you. Every girl needs a guy like you who loves her, respects her, supports her and gives freedom to her to make choices. Abhi hurt me so bad that I also become like him and I hated myself from become so dependent on him and giving so much importance to him in my life. So I decide to move on with you so that I can live up to my words which I said to my friends that I want to move on. I thought may be i got happiness in my life by getting husband in my friend, so what if i don't get person i love. Not everyone get love in this world but still they find happiness if they found friend in their partner. And also I want to show everyone specially him that I can also move ahead in life with person who loves me and can be happy without his help. I know this very selfish and insane idea of me, I don't know what I want to proof and to whom. My intention was to hurt him the way he hurts me but in this process I was not only hurting him but you also indirectly".
Nikki puts her hand on his and teary replied "I know sorry is not enough to heal your pain. I am not even expecting your forgiveness Sid, I understand now that I making fool of all my friends, him, you and specially myself. I am the one who is cause of everyone pain and sorrow, I should be punish for that". (Nikki thinks about Abhi as well who is suffering in jail because of her). Nikki pleads him "Punish me Sid, I do whatever you say to me" Sid nodes in negative with lower eyes but she urges "You have to be rude, angry and fight with me that why I did this to you". Sid emotionally said "I can't be angry and rude to you because I really love you a lot. I am still worrying about you Nikki, where you stuck yourself. He is married guy Nikki, how much you love him but it didn't hide the fact that he is married. I don't know why you are doing the same mistake in your life again for which you suffered a lot in past". Nikki replied weekly "I know that but its also true that I love him and always be" Sid shakes his head in negative "You love a married man which is not right in itself and above that he is in jail in charge of murder of one patient".
Nikki wants to tell him that he is innocent but Abhi swear stopping her to spilt in front of him. Nikki mums at this, withdraw her hand from him and Sid stands, confront "You want me to give you a punishment but you giving yourself a punishment. I don't know what you thought about your future but you have to be that also soon. Yes I am hurt this time but I sympathies to you more than me". Sid is ready to leave but turns "I don't think Armaan is wrong in this one, If I am at his place I'll do the same. Take care of yourself" and leaves. Nikki teary replied "I don't know about my future but I wish you a luck for your future. I know what I have to do next" and wipes tears from her eyes.

Next morning
There is board meeting going with all the board members and resident doctor regarding the incident happened yesterday. One board member says "What ever happened was not good? It put the name of Sanjeevani on stack because of Abhimanyu Modi's act. I think we should soon appoint a new head for Sanjeevani so that we can pull our hands from this mess. Media, press and people making our life hell by asking ridiculous and baseless questions". Nikki interrupts "Wow, what a brilliant idea, to pull your hand from mess you want to put the career of a person on stack but i think its natural to you as you done it in past as well". All board members, doctors get shocked to hear that from her mouth but she continued "Let me remind you one thing he was accused but his crime is not proof yet that means he is innocent". Armaan eyed her and Ridhimma squeezes her hand to shut up in front of board members and even Dr. Shashank signal to her to calm down. Other board member replied calmly "We are thinking about hospital benefit Dr. Nikita, this matter is very sensitive if we don't take any steps now than we loose our person who provides funds to this hospital".
Nikki comments "If I am not wrong all these are those person who Abhimanyu brings to provide funds to Sanjeevani. He spents his days and nights to bring funds in the hospital and sometimes agree to unsual demands of them as well. He tried to convince people to provide funds to the hospital and preparing presentation for them. Did i saying anything wrong?" Board members get silence to listen this and Nikki shakes her head "The hospital Sanjeevani whose worries eaten you up is the one who you wanted closed and it is the same person Abhimanyu Modi who stopped you doing it. He is not only saved Sanjeevani from closing, overcome it from financial crisis, brings fund to Sanjeevani but also open the chains of Sanjeevani in India. Do I am saying right Dr. Shashank?" Dr. Shashank nodes his head in affirmation, Nikki looks at the board member but they replied "It can't be a single person decision, the decision is taken by board members not by any doctors". Nikki stands and irritably asks "If you already taken decision than why would you call us here". One board member sternly replied "To inform you all about it, it's our duty". Nikki angrily replied "I am not on in this one and Never be" and left the cabin in rush. All her friends watched her silently leaving the cabin but no one stands as Dr. Shashank also present there so they don't want to insult him in front of board members by leaving the cabin.
All comes out from board meeting, Nikki standing outside worryingly and waiting for her friends but before Armaan asks anything to her Dr. Shashank calls her in his cabin. Nikki leaves from there but all friends are worrying about what Dr. Shashank is going to say or ask to her. They all gather outside Dr. Shashank's cabin in order to know what happen in the cabin. Nikki comes out silently and walks away without talking anyone, they all called her from behind but she didn't stop. After few seconds Dr. Shashank comes out with paper in his hand "Dr. Nikita resigned from Sanjeevani". "WHAT??" all says in unison and he continue "I tried to convince her a lot for not leaving but she made her mind. I tried to make her understand that board member already taken a decision and we can't help it now". Armaan angrily whispers "She has gone mad, she left Sanjeevani". Dr. Shashank said "I didn't accept her resignation yet may be you guys can convince her". They all left from there in order to talk to Nikki in this respect.

All reached at Nikki's home where she searches something in her home. Armaan asks "why did you resign from Sanjeevani?" but Nikki is so busy in searching that she almost unheard what he is asking "Huh ha I resign.....where it is". Armaan asks "Why?" but Nikki get up on stool to find something on her suitcase and tell them to hold it for her otherwise she'll fall. She is throwing clothes from cupboard, files from shelves in order to search and her friends saving themselves from all the attack that Nikki's thrown toward them unknowingly. All friends and Armaan follows her in room by room wherever she goes in search, She found her kurti who still tangle with Abhi's chain. Nikki admiringly touched with her fingers to remember Abhi's office scene but Armaan voice interrupt her again "Here I am talking so important thing to you and you not even hearing it properly. What are you searching?" Nikki put the kurti in cupboard possesively and pull paper from it, exclaimed smilingly "I got it" by holding papers in her hand. Armaan neglect "You get it what you are searching. Now listen to me". Nikki holds Armaan hand "Not now Armaan, I am in hurry. We'll talk later ok. Bye" but before Armaan and other friends can stop her she leaves. Armaan comment "we all come here to talk to her and she has no time for that. uff" breathe out while running his hand in hair.

The persons gives money to Nikki, takes the paper and car key from her. Nikki put the money in her bag and calls a taxi to drive her to desired place.
Flashback
Nikki was talking to the advocates to take the case of Abhi but no one was ready to involve in it as media and common people who already very angry to all involves in this. One person outside court told Nikki as there is one lawyer who can ready to take this but his fees is very high. He is money oriented person but whenever he takes any case he put all his effort to win it but he doesn't compromise in his fee. Nikki asked his fees which way above she had. So that she decided that to sold her car and give that money to him and agrees him to take this case. She searched her whole house to find the original papers of car.
Flashback End
Nikki's taxi comes to halt, she steps down and get inside the desired address. She finds a board written "Advocate Arjun Saraswat, LLB" and she enter in it and find a lady ask her name. Lady replied "Oh you have an appointment with him. Come with me" and enter in huge cabin where she finds a man, tall, dark and handsome sitting in front of her totally engrossed in his work. Lady told him that she is Dr. Nikita Malhotra and she wants you to take a case of prime suspect Dr. Abhimanyu Modi in Shekhar Talpade Case.
He nodes before she leaves, he asks "You want something tea or cold drink" but Nikki refuses and start talking about the case. He interrupts "I know everything about this case since today media is very fast and keep you updating about all information". Nikki comments "Sometimes media portray wrong images of people as well in order to get publicity. It only shows what people want to watch without knowing the whole truth".
(The people showing their anger toward Abhimanyu by burning his mannequin, speaking bad words about him and demanding justice from court to hang him for killing a patient)
Arjun smiles "I hope you know about my fees. As soon as you submitted it I start working on this case". Nikki takes the money out from her bag and put in front of him but he shows her way to submit it on reception. She submitted it there and wait for him to come out, he collect his coat and briefcase "Let's go'" but Nikki says "I am not going with you". He asks confusingly "You are not going to come with me to meet Dr. Modi". Nikki answer "yes, but you carry on. Please let me inform about everything what is happening?" and he agrees, leave from there.

(One visit of Arjun Saraswat in the police station to meet Dr. Abhimanyu Modi about the Shekhar Talpade's murder case is spread like fire in the jungle. All get to know that Arjun is going to fight for Dr. Modi innocence through media and media also informed people that Dr. Nikita Malhotra who recently resigned from Sanjeevani is the one who approach Arjun to take Dr. Modi case. This news makes people against to Nikita as well who now also comes in the spotlight with this news.)
Nikita comes next morning to Arjun Saraswat office to know what he had talked with Abhimanyu. Arjun informs "Dr. Modi refuse to sign the paper which says that he is ready to take me as his defense lawyer in the court. Also he offers me double amount of my fees to back out from this case. I never thought that I even paid for not doing anything". Nikki fumes under her breathe "He is not at peace even in jail. He is not satisfied until he makes my life hell. Stupid, idiot, moron'" Arjun narrow his eyes in puzzlement "Did you say something?" but Nikki nodes in negative. Nikki says "Fine, I'll give you triple amount of your fees. I am paying you extra money with a deal that you not going to fall for any further deal from him. You also make him agree to sign your paper as well". Arjun asks "But how can I force him to sign the paper" but Nikki counter back "What kind of lawyer you are? You are not able to make him agree to sign a paper than how can you proof his innocence in front of all. I have heard lot about you that you will never back off after taking any case. Now what happen this time?" Before Nikki charges on him he agrees "Ok, I'll try talk to him again" and Nikki replied "Don't only try, you have to. Don't worry about your fees I deposite it today". Arjun asks "You know what triple amount of my fees means" but Nikki fumes at him "Yes I know I am not illiterate. It's my problem from where I bring it, not your". Arjun set on his chair to save himself from Nikki outburst and only blurt "Okay'"

At Night
Nikki sold out her house as well to submit the triple amount of fees to him, she submitted it at his reception and searching house for rent. But no ones agree to give her a house or a room as they don't want any issues at their house or room due to this murder case. At last Nikki decided that she'll go to hotel for night stay, she takes her bag in her hand and start looking for taxi. The road is very lonely but she spot one taxi there and stops it but before she get inside it she see the group of people approaching towards her. The people have weapons in their hand who rushes toward her with anger. Taxi driver run away from there, Nikki gets startle and start running with her bags. One man hold her bag from behind and attack her with weapon but Nikki leave her bag which make them fall on to the ground. She runs away from there, she is sweating because of fear and running, her breathe breaks out from running so she hides her behind a car which standing with other car as well.
Nikki tries to control her heavy breathe and wiping her sweat with her dupatta when someone's pat hand on her shoulder. Nikki gets stunned without looking at back, scream out a loud and start running. When person holds her hand tightly but she still closing her eyes and keep screaming, when person pulls her and shakes her with shoulder "Nikki, what is wrong? I am Armaan your friend". Nikki open her eyes, looks at her friends who watching her all tense, she finds all her friends behind him are tense as well to look at her. Nikki takes a deep breathe of relief to watch her friends their, start smiling with moister eyes and hug Armaan tightly. He brings her at his house where Ridhimma and others taking care of her and asking how she is now.

Armaan tell Ridhimma "Give her a glass of water" Ridhimma nodes and hand her a glass of water. Nikki takes it from her hand and gulps it in one go as sweating took out all the moisture from her body. Nikki places the glass on table while Armaan closely watching her "By the way where is your car?" Nikki nervously replied "Ah..I send it to the garaz for repair". Armaan nodes lightly "Oh okay. How is your house?" and Nikki narrow her eyes and fumbles "What do you mean how is it? The way it was". Armaan smilingly replied "Yeah how silly of me. Well where you are coming from, why are you scared and why are you hiding behind my car". Nikki gets irritating with his question "Why are you asking so many questions? I was actually scared from street dogs, they are behind me that's why I hidden behind your car".
Armaan stands from sofa and shouts "Stop Lying Nikki. How much you lie specially for him?" Ridhimma gets shock from Armaan sudden outburst "Armaan relax, what happen? Why are shouting at Nikki?" Armaan turns toward her and fumes "Ask her. What happen?" Nikki calmly replied "If I told you that than you'll angry with me that's why I am lying". Armaan charges toward her "That's why you are lying" but Ridhimma hold him in between to attack her. Nikki steps back a little and replied "See, I know you'll react like this. That's why I didn't tell you". Armaan shouts again "Nikki'" but Ridhimma interrupt this time "Will you both stop and tell me what happen?" Armaan replied "You know she sold her car, her house for that idiot Modi so that she can pay the fees of his defense lawyer. Now even the people are behind her to hurt her".
Ridhimma pass her shock and worried look from Armaan to Nikki, Ridhimma asks "Nikki, is this true?" and Nikki lower her eyes in response. Armaan says "She is ready to spend her all investments on him, she destroying her life, future and everything behind him. That Dr. Modi still doesn't leave her even after going to jail". Ridhimma eyed Armaan to calm down and put hand on her shoulder "I am really scared for you Nikki. I don't know what you have plan for your future and life. I know that you want to help Dr. Modi in this but even if he comes out of jail than also he can't be your". Nikki puts her hand above her and teary replies "I know that Ridhimma but I am not helping him to make him mine. I just want to proof his innocence to all that's it".
Armaan objects "Enough is enough Nikki. I don't know why only you watch his innocence rather than other. Inspector, media, press and people all are wrong and fool beside you". Nikki neglects his comment but Armaan pleads her "Look Nikki, now you are not going to do anything. I request you to please back off from this. You know people start talking nonsense about you and Abhimanyu, that why Dr. Nikita fighting for Abhimanyu's innocence rather than his wife. People start speculating the things between you as why you resigned from Sanjeevani next day, why you sell your car and house for depositing a lawyer fees. You think you can hide this entire thing from media and people; they are keeping a dog eyes on you all the time of your doing. Nikki, I don't want to stop you from fighting for him because I know you love him until your reputation comes on stack. I don't like if people use bad words for you. Please Nikki, stop all this".
Nikki answers "You think after doing all this I can back off now. No, I can't only because people saying bad words for me. Whether anyone support me in this or not, I am not going to leave him in this alone". Armaan tighten his jaw in arrogance and Nikki start moving to the front door but Armaan ask "Where are you going? I think you forget that you don't have any home and money to live outside. Ridhimma already made a room ready for you upstairs. Go and have sleep there". Nikki turns with moist eyes and smilingly says "Thanks Ridhimma" and runs to hug her, Armaan roll his eyes but Nikki quickly kiss him on cheek and says "I love you for that". She leaves from there with grin on her face, Ridhimma smiles on her act that only she can make him agree even in his irked state. Armaan shakes his head and says to her "I don't know what black magic that Modi has done on Nikki". Armaan and Ridhimma also leave to have a sleep after so distressing argument with Nikki.

Next morning
Nikki is ready to leave but Armaan called her from behind "Nikki, it is not safe for you to go alone especially after what had happened last night". Nikki retorted back "Don't worry Armaan, I am not a kid. I can take care of myself". Nikki open the door, find Arjun there standing and Armaan also comes up from behind in order to stop her from going alone. Nikki surprise "You here, I was leaving to meet you" and invite him inside to sit. Arjun replied "It is mean I have come at right time" while comforting himself on sofa. Armaan also takes one seat, Ridhimma standing beside him and Nikki enthusiastically ask "Did you talk to Abhimanyu? Did he agree to sign the paper?" while adjusting herself opposite to him. He nodes and replied "Yes I had a talk with him last night but he didn't sign the paper. He put one condition before signing the paper". Nikki confusedly asked "WHAT?" Arjun points toward door, call two people inside "Dr. Modi sign the paper if you agree to have this two as your bodyguard".
Nikki's mouth open wide in amusement and Armaan and Ridhimma also looks at bodyguard in shock. Arjun went back to flashback while catching their expression
Flashback
Arjun came to meet Abhimanyu in jail, Abhimanyu asked "You again" before he could acquired his seat on the bench resting against him. Arjun tilt his head above in midway of his sitting position and thinks why these two crazy people are behind my poor life. Abhi ask again "Didn't you get my answer last time that I don't want any defense lawyer for me. Or you felt the double of your fees is less you got from me that's why you are here again". Arjun smiles "yes you are right the amount which you paying me to not fight are very less as compare to what I am getting. Dr. Nikita offers me triple of my fees and told me to get your sign on this paper". Abhi fumes under his breathe "Stupid, stubborn girl. I think she swear with the birth that she'll do exactly opposite of what I told her to do". Arjun suspiciously look at him "Did you said something?" but Abhi nodes his head in negative. Arjun says "I know you very determined on your decision for not taking me as your defense lawyer but I just want to say one thing to you. One girl is fighting with everyone media, people, hospital without even caring for her reputation as well and more than that she is fighting with her friends also only for you. If you also leave her at that time than whom should she rely on? One thing I clear you she will not stop at any cost, now its upto you that you support her or not at this time". Abhi answer "Ok, I am ready to sign this paper but I have one condition".
