How could Geet misunderstand Maan? It was her who left the engagement party and she also knew that Maan is probably somehwere out in jungle. She had decided that she will once meet Maan and tell him her side of story. So why suddenly this thought ki "Maan Sir ne mujhe chhod diya etc etc". It is not as if she had told him the whole story and then also he didn't believe her.
It is totally unfair to her character to make her misunderstand Maan after he had helped her so much. Especially when Maan still believes that there should be a reason that Geet went off from her engagement.
I know it is all b'coz of GC's health problems but I hope they don't complicate the story so much that there would be no turning back from there to sweet Maneet story :(
