Lately..just since the last couple of times..every time Geet says to Maan....you are soo good and you have done soo much for me...soo many favors...you accepted me with my past...and even the baby....it just irks me...and rankles me too.

I just feel like telling Geet...Geet honey he loves you...and if he is accepting you the way you are...he is not doing you any favors...isn't that what love is all about..accepting the person and loving him/her the way they are...agreed that he has shown quite a big heart and a broad mind in accepting her past...but dont u guyz think its high time..he stops her from saying this all the time....sometimes it sounds as if she is more obligated to him..or more grateful for his help and favors then in love with him.....it sometimes sounds like she doesn't love him for what he is...but is in debt of him and will remain so forever.....

OK..i know all the Maan lovers will kill me for this...but this way their relationship will not be balanced...Geet will always be burdened with gratefulness for all he has done...and Maan will always have an upper hand....in any relationship of this sort...both the partners have to be on an equal footing...i feel Geet will always be in awe and a little bit of fear of Maan...will she come out of his shadow to be her true self....

Yes, he has done plenty for her...and will keep on doing so in the future too...but its not an ehsaan geet...its love!! accept the love and return it tenfold...thats the only thing he should be and is asking for..

Pls dont get me wrong...i want her to love him for what he is and not for what he has done for her...and Maan i am sure wants to be treated the same way...he has through his actions and words expressed this plenty of times...and this attitude might be one of the main reasons why Geet will not be able to tell him the truth about Dev..

Geet...when you are in love....doing things for your beloved is a pleasure and not a pain !!.

honestly....i feel the same......when she said that stuff in fridays episode.....i felt like smacking her....and i thought he would say something...

I do agree with this assessment. I think that Geet should really cut out expressing her gratitude all the time and actually share the love that she feels for him. Maan has shown in many many ways that he cares for her deeply and has even expressed it in words now so many times. Whereas, Geet just stands there with tears in her eyes and at the most express her gratitude for him accepting her with her past. Time she moved beyond that and realizes the depth of her own feelings for him.

@savi...that is precisely my take...she respects him a ton..is grateful to him..honors him...worships him...and at the end of it...all he wants is her love

so true!!! he does love her truly, but i think she still doesn't think she's good enough for him..i think the confession night changed her mind, but not that much!

Nice post eve.

Yeah, at the present Geet is burdened by the kindness in Maan. From her perspective, she was in a very vulnerable state with her family getting ready to kill her for keeping the baby. From the day of her marriage till the day she confessed her feelings to Maan, she has been alone, facing rejection. So the first thing that Maan does is overwhelming her. She loves him, but sometimes there are certain things in a person that actually move you. Till now she has seen a very akdoo and sadoo Maan. The immense kindness and empathy he is showing now is different from the passionate, angry Maan she has seen till now. Hence her reaction. I understand where is she coming from. She wondered how Maan will react when she confesses her feelings. And what she is seeing is blowing her away.

Though I want Maan to stop her the next time she says that by saying that he is doing that because he loves her and the baby belongs to him too.
