How does Geet know Pinky?

Maybe I missed a couple of episodes but how does Geet Know Pinky (who had Geet's picture so she may not have known her prior to this meeting). Does anyone?

Pinky is Mahinder's friend's daughter, and Mahinder has asked his friend Machanda to take care of her in Delhi!

I believe that Mahinder had called Pinky father after she left her village. But Pinky's family doesn't know why Geet is in Dehli.

yeah, did I miss something?if I could please ask how did you know that her dad called his friend? Um I watch this show religiously HAHA, so I dont think I missed an episode..?? can you please help explain how you found out this info?

so then in tat case hw can pinky be maan's sis cuzzz on geet's interview at the end pinky interduced herself and said she will play the character named pinky and shes maan's sis.i mean hw is tat possible.then geet's dad shld now who maan is then. OMG IM SOOOO CONFUSED.
