i think he said that just to bring out what was on their minds about being in a joint family...i am absolutely fine with a girl wanting to live alone with her hubby....but why was nikunj trying to say that she liked his mom more than him etc when she was so sure about not wanting to live with her...contradicting herself...she didnt have to over emphasize on how much she loved his mom in that case.
