MARCH 13, and it's a wrap up. After running on air for six years now, Kum Kum starring Hussain Kuwajerwala and Juhi Parmar will close the chapter on Star Plus and move on with their lives. "Well, it's not that it has come all of a sudden. We've been on air for pretty long time, and every show has its life," says Hussain who feels that Kum Kum the best thing that happened in his career. "I would call it the childhood stage of my career, it's made me from a nobody to somebody," he says, all set to step in a life after Kum Kum. "Normally one would try out films but it's extremely difficult for you got to have a godfather. In spite of ten years on telly, films is a far shot," Hussain's honest, but yes, he wants to climb higher and higher. "So that would translate into more experimentations....life on the telly does get monotonous, and I broke it by anchoring shows like Khulja Sim Sim, Shabaash India, Indian Idol, and participating in reality shows," he runs through two phases of television he's been part of - the soap operas and the reality shows."Right now I feel content is the king, and we need to rise above too much of fantasy or reality driven television. Luckily, programming is seeing a change and TV will definitely roll back to better days," says the actor who wants to be an entertainer all his life. To new beginnings!
