SARA KHAN FINED!!
[15 Jul 2008]

Sara Khan, the television actress who plays the character of Sadhna in 'Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai', has been fined twice for coming late on the sets for shooting.

The producer-director of the show Rajan Shahi had earlier warned the actress about her late coming on the sets, but she continued in the same way, forcing Shahi to cut the amount of fine from her pay packet directly. Some other actors have also been warned in this regard by Shahi and if they do not mend their ways, they too will meet with the same fate.

The insiders say that this was not a new rule and had been in existent for a long time to discipline the actors, but it is only now that it has been strictly implemented. However, the rule is not ruthless and takes into consideration the valid reasons if any and punishes only if the reason is found to be fake or flimsy. For instance, Sara Khan was punished only after she was found to be a habitual late comer with no regard for punctuality.
