We have gotten some decent scenes but over all story is very wishy washy. I've been watching some scenes from 2 months ago and the story feels so different. The path they initially were on for the show they are completing ignoring by introducing random new characters no one wants.

What about the joker? Is that still Haider? Insha can just away, could have an any extra to play that part.

It's been 6+ weeks with off screen drama and replacement rumors. Fans are tired.

Plus it looks like by next week all the positive characters will be gone. It will be 100 villains against MaHer. SMH

They need course correct the narrative both on screen and off screen.

Yes. New week, new replacement rumors. I too hope none replaces Rishita. But seeing how the story is going I don't expect much from this show. They killed my happiness by repeated talaaqs. This word is awful.. and Mahid uses it casually to set an axample for society. What about giving talaaq after talaaq? Doesn't it send bad message to society?.

I agree it’s like they don’t even know what to do with the story and are bringing more characters without any arc. First they should focus on the existing characters and maybe introduce new characters. Haider was brought with so much hype and he’s been sitting in a corner same with Insha. I don’t know whether they are planning to continue their characters after leap. Too much negativity onscreen and offscreen will just ruin the drama. I remember in qubool hai it was always the villians winning against the leads by the end of the show I don’t even remember who died and who was alive. It was that messed up.

Since the Eid track and off screen drama, the showing has followed the ITV tried and true recipe. Too many baddies against the 2 good guys. Thankfully right now Mahid and Seher are on the same team but if they separate; someone is going to fill both of their ears.

What I don't get is in 2026 why does ITV need to bring these nonsense tracks? The 3rd angle, family members who have goons, drugs and hit men on speed dial. This show had a great premise that they could have explored without all this nonsense masala.

I watch clips from the earlier episode and I miss that. I know a lot of folks were against MaHer marriage especially considering her age. I'm not happy about it but it worked, plus Mahid is also 22; so they are both kids technically.

Keep Rishita and Parth; their chemistry is fire and focus on her journey to becoming a doctor and his to be a mufti. I was hoping they would witness each other's journey but looks like that won't happen. The divorce track while understandable is hard to watch especially if we get to the 3rd talaq.

That is why Mahid is doing it and he said exactly that recently to Tahir. I think after he find the letter from his Ammi.

Mahid is I practice what I preach which is admirable but he forgets he can protect Seher from Parvez. Nothing is going to stop him from marrying her off after the divorce or like you said to someone else if Mahid hadn't married her.

His intentions are respectable but it creates so many loopholes for things to go wrong and them to never be together again.

June 8th Episode

It was a good episode. Some very good moral messages for the audience and society as a whole.

But it also hurt to watch some portions today.

The conversation between Dada Huzur and Mahid was powerful. The clash between the old and the new. The clash between meaning and interpretations of religious books. Mahid was respectful and he came from a place a love for his mufti see how wrong he was.

It's always powerful to see when someone old who has been set in their ways for decades come to the realization that it was done but doesn't mean it was right and change is not a bad thing. Dada huzur metaphor of a new strong storm blowing through can tear apart old branches but he doesn't want to torn apart. He understood and learned.

I was also so happy to see the old Dada Huzur that we met earlier in the show. His character had become cliched in the middle so it was good to see him happily interacting with Mahid and Seher.

The divorce hurt. I've seen it in the promos and it still hurt. The first was a shock for Seher and it hurt her; this one she understood why and accepted but OMG the look of utter devastation on both of their faces.

I hope this is the last one because the fans are going to be heartbroken if we get a third one. Also couldn't he have just stopped at one talaq?

Whatever feelings we all have about how Dada Huzur lied to get them married; I fully agree with his sentiment today that if ever there was a person who could walk with him, match his steps; it is Seher. The how of their marriage was wrong but everything else was everything they both needed. 😢

You said it right. One talaaq is enough. After all he didn't return her as a wife. He didn't even consume their marriage, so what is the need of the 2nd talaaq?

I feel like makers are eyeing a future halala drama if this show survives and runs for a year or so.. coz you know in every drama about muslims there are cliched tracks : doosri biwi, triple talaaqein, and halala.

This show had a enough potential to run without cliches. UGH
