Nowadays that's all you'll get. We're not getting Wavin Flag ever again. Now that was a proper FIFA song.

Here check it out:

To be fair this wasn't the official FIFA song. It was Coca-Cola's song for FIFA 2010. The official one was Waka Waka by Shakira, but this one trended so heavily at a time when trending wasn't even a thing. It trended for the next 2 FIFAs after that 2010 FIFA. But even Shakira's song wasn't objectifying women. It was a celebration of Africa and it's culture.

This is so darn good! Like you see the spirit of the game, the joy behind it, the emotions it represents! Not just one country’s but representing various countries also. Why don’t they do something like this that brings out the sheer joy of watching the game ?

For the record, I really like Waka Waka! Even our T20 WC had decent promotions.

20 points for correctly predicting a tie in the starting matches (before the Top 32 round)

I have a question on the above rule. A tie and draw are same, right? Assuming this is referring to individual group stage match results.

In the knockout stage, if the regulation play and extra time play ends up in a draw with 2 goals each and the winner is decided in the penalty shoot outs by 2 - 3 goals

What is the correct score to get us points?

Team A - 2, Team B - 2

Team B is the winner in penalty shootouts

or

Team A - 4, Team B - 5

Team B is the winner

Cheers..

Yes tie and draw are the same thing. Only in the group stage matches can we have ties.

You would tell me the score and then the team that you think will win.

So like Team A - 2, Team B - 2, Team B wins. Technically the penalty shootout doesn't count in goal count. It is a separate count.
