Right now, everyone is watching the live score from Mumbai, where Rajasthan Royals have put themselves in a great position. After scoring a big total of 205, Rajasthan's bowlers have already reduced Mumbai Indians to 44/4 in the Powerplay. If Rajasthan wins this game, they take the final playoff spot and KKR is knocked out before a single ball is bowled here. But if Mumbai can pull off a miracle comeback and win, then this evening match becomes a must-win, knockout game for KKR in front of their home fans. The pitch tonight is expected to be slow and grassy, so batting first after winning the toss will be a huge advantage. It is going to be a thrilling end to the league stage, and we will bring you the toss and team updates in a bit.

Pitch and conditions: We're slightly off-center. Out to my right side, it's 61 meters, and the captains will get some reprieve with 68, and it's a decent hit down the ground. But let's have a look at this 22 yards. Michael Clarke, what are you seeing first up, mate? Finchy looks pretty good, mate, to be honest. I think it's going to play pretty consistent once again this wicket here at Eden Gardens. Beautiful to bat. If we have a look at the surface, you can see there's a couple of dry areas, but they're pretty close to where the batters stand. So hitting this area here is going to be probably too full for the bowlers. You come a little bit further down where you're going to see the majority of the ball's pitch, I reckon it's a really nice, even surface for batting. So again, maybe it will be a tough night for the bowlers. Do you think this will favour spin at all? I think if anything, I think pace off is probably going to do the bowlers some favours. But in general here, it's nice for batting. It always is nice for batting. So you win the toss, you try and chase later on. - Aaron Finch, Michael Clarke.

"Hello from Eden Gardens! The weather first. Forecast has changed a little since yesterday and we are now expecting some rain during the match. Buzz wise, hearing a lot more tickets have been sold for this match especially with KKR still in contention"- greets Pratyush Sinha. "Interestingly, both Tejasvi Dahiya and Rahul Tripathi have had very similar keeping drills so far. Doesn't feel like Dahiya, who was a concussion sub in the last match, is a shoo-in. Ramandeep Singh has marked his run-up. Also spotted with the squad is Angkrish in a sling," he adds.

Rovman Powell: (Are all the boys inside the dressing room tuning in to what's going on in the other game?) Yeah, definitely. I think they're tuned in from last night, watching the game against Punjab, and that will help us in knowing what we have to do today, and they're watching the game now with Rajasthan. (Halfway in through the season, did you guys think last game you would be in with a chance of qualifying for the top four?) To be honest, maybe not. You know, but halfway through the competition, we have made a commitment to play good cricket, and our fans who have supported us really well. And you know, just to play for ourselves, play for our pride, it's a proud franchise, and the start of the competition didn't justify how the franchise have treated us as players. (What would you attribute your team's biggest turnaround to?) You know, finding an identity, coming up with your proper combinations, looking to what you really want to do, at the start of the competition, we were plagued by some injuries. Some of the key players didn't take part. Some of the key players were missing, so we have to fill those little voids that were left. It took us a long time to get our feet, but fortunately for us we're playing some good cricket now. It hasn't been one of those stellar IPL seasons, to be honest, but it's a season where I've contributed to the team's successes. Once you are contributing to your team, that's a good thing.

Time for the toss. KKR opt to bowl. Ajinkya Rahane says "the wicket looks really good", even as his side banks on MI vs RR. He wants his side to finish with a win irrespective of what happens in Mumbai. KKR are unchanged. Axar Patel would have bowled first too.

DC and KKR will start playing without knowing whether they still have a chance to be in the playoffs or not. How would they feel when they find out?
