Yeah I agree. It was somewhat a mess today.

First, Daya on a vacation alone was fine. But considering their job, he didn't carry his ID, gun, gloves etc felt weird. I mean he is a cop. They need some sort of vigilance, no? I mean he was carrying a pocket knife but no gloves or gun? Felt kinda weird... Or maybe it's me who is weird considering they carried their supplies when they went to the resort for their group vacation.

Plus solo investigation, catching culprits without a gun... Everything felt like it was way too convenient.

That's true. In the beginning, every other week was literally a supernatural themed case. It's been an overdose of all these shraap, bhoot, aatma stuff.

The only thing I'm thankful about is that they didn't take inspiration from last season and bring in aliens and mad scientists altering DNA with a random injection...

I can still understand for once that no forensic help was required. One was a beheaded corpse and the other was poisoned. So, yeah I can kinda digest that part...

But what I simply can't understand is how Daya went about the investigation without any sort of weapons? He scoured the forest in the dark with just a lantern, no weapon of any sorts. Agar kisi criminal gang se saamna ho jaata toh kya phir se Panjurli Daiva (yahi naam tha na? Can't remember exactly) ki kripa se Saadi pehen kar ladne ka plan tha kya? He practically walked into that hut without knowing how many people were there... Aur haath mein ek iron rod tak nahi tha defense ke liye?? Ye log resort vacation ke liye gaye the, toh guns and gloves sab lekar gaye the. Idhar ye Bhai Sahab akele vacation par aaye the aur bina kisi defense item ke?

Regarding Purvi and Pankaj... They probably borrowed Weasley's Flying Ford Anglia to reach there on time.

Unless they could apparate? 🤔

Also, there's been something that's bugging me since yesterday...

Daya, after investigation and arresting criminals, handed over the doctor couple's daughter to that widow to take care.

Now, what I was thinking was: Is that woman self sufficient enough to take care of two girls plus herself? From what it looked like, their family condition wasn't top tier. So, does she have a job or any means to provide for herself and her daughter let alone and extra kid? He just handed over the girl and told that woman to contact them if she has any problems. But did he even ask if she has the means to support a family? A job? Land for farming? A shop or anything else?

Since it's nearing the end so I don't want to remember negative things... But do they ever talk about the family conditions before handing over an extra family member to be taken care of??

Also, can you hand over a kid/teenager just like that without any formal proceedings?? Just asking...

Sony TV wale are cunning....they won't sell CID ke rights to Sony SAB
