That’s honestly sad. A “hit”, but at what cost? Even if it scrapes together some money, the image is ruined forever. No trade person or insider is going to take them seriously after this.

Apparently every trade analyst and critic is “biased” against our mighty Ranveer, but the ones giving glowing reviews are all totally neutral, real, organic people.

Meanwhile under every critic’s tweet there’s an army of zombies abusing them. Everyone goes through a fall, but it’s very rare for it to turn this ugly.

And so happy for ranveer! So much praise for him and his performance, he truly is the most versatile actor! Watching him in this film made me so proud! The range of emotions he showed was incredible!

The teaser they showed of the second film is goosebumps worthy! I cannot wait to see it!

And those thinking there is no negativity going on for dhurandhar, just now someone has posted on reddit that dhurandhar is coming on jio hotstar on 31st Dec, when the reality is that Netflix has already been announced as the OTT partner for dhurandhar an attempt to put peoole off watching it in theatres, and Netflix has made no official announcements of when dhurandhar is coming on OTT yet people are spreading that its coming on nextflix at the end of January. The media has increased the budget of this film from 200 to 400 crores media was saying the budget was 240 crores before they found out its actually two films, now they are trying to say the budget of just part 1 is 300 plus crores the amount of 1 star reviews that have been posted on ibmd is astonishing, such an attempt to spread so much negativity against the film

Dhurandhar continued with its inflated numbers as the feeding spread to more cinemas than the first day. The first day the feeding was mainly concentrated on one chain but the second day saw this feeding go wider. The story of the film is something like the hero infiltrating the terrorists but here its become about infiltrating the multiplexes and buying tickets. The film itself may go not be able to go wider but makers have gone wider in buying tickets.

What BOI says may be true,who knows. But their extreme bias in reporting has left its reputation in shreds.

Always read the comments below. There is also the problem of reach in the public. Public buys millions of tickets.They are sitting in the theaters ,liking or not liking films.Taran Adarsh has almost 4 million followers. His review has almost 1 million views already. Who do you think public searched for, before buying the tickets.

Producers/ directors decide the future of stars.BOI support is like KJo support. No one survived.Those who live by numbers,die by numbers. Films and roles remain in the memory. Fanwars will continue. It is part of the game.

I mean the first time I ever even heard of fake numbers in BW is during Brahmastra times but we all know how BoI plays favourites and remained mum then. So the hypocrisy and biasness is something that amuses me infinitely. If Dhurandhar makes a mark in the hearts of people, no amount of so called "ugliness" will affect it. You would think they would learn their lesson after what happened during Chaava release which is now considered by that same trade as a blockbuster.

I will look at how Pt 2 performs since this was more ground and world building for the sequel. This part even getting close to 200-250crores is a huge win cause post that Pt 2 earnings are just going to be excess profits.

In all this is going to be a very profitable venture and the strategy to shoot both parts together and release them 4 months apart may end up being a masterstroke cause when Pt 2 is out is when most would have seen it on OTT and hype will be high. Like I said, all it needs is to get that Eid date free of clash.

P.S. It is funny seeing even BoI is slowly backtracking after throwing random numbers like 30 percent inflation when they had no way of truly knowing that, now they are claiming they themselves do not know what is real or not, so who can even believe them.
