Gadar is the biggest franchise of the millenia. All this hate is only spewed on social media by frustrated people. Doesn't affect a film in real life.

I was specifically referring to what some would consider insulting a Hindu diety. The Outrage would've been a lot lot worse if these hate spewing SM handles realized that Ranveer wasn't Hindu.

I thought he is Sindhi. Bhavnani is a Sindhi surname.

He is Sindhi! That's an ethnicity. The other is a religion. There are Hindu Sindhis, Muslim Sindhis, Sikh Sindhis. Just like there's Hindu Punjabis, Muslim Punjabis, Sikh Punjabis.

People often confuse the two.

Nope, Sindhis follow Hinduism and Sikhism both. Saying this cause I am partly one myself through my Mom. I have temple going Hindu Sindhi cousins who have had Anand Karaj ceremony.

And ironically my Dad is a Mangalorean Tulu just like Rishab Shetty so yeah I am effin furious at Ranveer for pulling this shit cause Rishab has made us Tulu speakers extremely proud with the portrayal of our culture and Ranveer in his ignorance actually insulted his wife's Managalorean culture.

Um… “nope” to what exactly? Not all Sindhis follow Hinduism or/and Sikhism. You do realize Muslim Sindhis exist too, right? Your version of Sindhi identity isn’t the only one out there.
