It's not that he was waking up every morning and discussing it with different contestants..

He didn't..

But when someone from media is asking him this in such insensitive manner, saying that he did it for sympathy,why would he not explain his side...why would he take their bull-shit? Of course he got emotional because it is a deep desire, void in his life that he wanted but now has chosen to bury it...yes he has chosen to do it bcz his wife and her wish/happiness is his top priority...so it's fine..

But saying that he can't express his side when he is being accused in such insensitive manner is weired I guess
