I don't know when you have called her out, you have only quoted me to defend her and today also I quoted you when you were defending her, I am just surprised that you claim to be neutral yet you want a grieving mother who was deprived of her child to suffer more, but why? What was Ruhi’s fault in all this?
As for your claims, you are making law extremely simplistic to favor Abhira but that's not how it works
Facts -
1 Did Abhira know that it wasn't her child? Yes
2 Was the child in Ruhi's custody when he was kidnapped? Yes
3 Was Abhira depressed? No
Law -
Father's consent doesn't override Ruhi's claim on her child, Rohit consented but his consent was deceptive making his a culprit of cheating along with Armaan.
The truth was revealed in presence of many witnesses and Abhira, before kidnapping Abhira knew that the child wasn't hers, she can't claim that people deceived her or Rohit consented to anything after truth revelation
Depression or emotional trauma - Doesn't work in serious cases like abduction, the legal defense requires complete unsoundness of mind, depression is no defense for crimes
And in the show, they never said Abhira was depressed
Intent works and most likely the case will be transferred to a civil court for custody of Daksh and further remedies but there can be no case on Ruhi because she is biological mother and Abhira did kidnap her child, there's no ground for defamation because the act was committed even though the intention was not kidnapping
What is your version of "neutral"? Are you suggesting that neutrality means saying people deserve abuse or pain? Sorry, but that's not what I consider neutral, nor do I 'claim' to be. Actually ykw, I do say that but only in the cases where the person deserves it. In this particular case, I dont. If this was something related to Anshumann, I think Abhira deserves someone like Armaan because she didn't value Anshumann. But that's beside the point in the current context.
That day too, I quoted you because I felt you were being harsh. Today, I did not defend her. My initial post was explaining the fact that Rohit will be the first one to be in legal trouble along with Armaan.
I dislike her actions enough to call them out, and troll them both for the cringe-fest, but I don’t feel accountable to you or anyone else to prove how much I "hate" someone.
I don't want Ruhi to suffer any more than she already has. I’m just stating the law. I don’t recall ever saying she deserved what happened to her—did I? I empathize with her because the pain she’s felt is no less real. Unlike you, I don’t just hate Abhira so much that I’d ignore the fact that she also suffered a miscarriage. Her actions were impulsive, not malicious.
@b: They don’t show everything on this show, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t dealing with shit.
@red: That’s exactly what I was trying to explain to A_star.
And let’s get something straight—kidnapping is an accusation that needs *intent* to be proven. You don’t need someone to be completely out of their mind to claim they were mentally disturbed. A psych evaluation could explain the mental state of a mother after a miscarriage or postpartum.
Maybe I’m simplifying the law, but you're out here making it sound like Abhira’s gonna get sentenced for 10+ years. No, sis, you might wish that, but that’s not how the law works either.
