This was for the sake of drama in the show. Ishita was at peace with knowing that she might never be a biological mother, she pours all her heart into loving Ruhi, Raman’s daughter; and eventually even marries him for her sake. Later she also ends up taking on the role of Adi’s mother, his son.

Later on when she discovers she’s pregnant, she’s obviously elated, but when she has a miscarriage, she’s not even allowed the chance to grieve, to mourn her loss and to just openly weep and talk about how it affected her; because she discovered her husband had went behind her back all because he couldn’t take the taunts aimed at her anymore.

They made his absolutely despicable act of betrayal and selfishness about his desperation to see his wife have her own child.

So yeah, there’s worse than Mihir out there, just in different ways.

I don't like from the day she warned Angad that his and Vrinda's name shouldn't be together or getting her job in different office so that they won't be together. Yesterday's one was too much. Even with Munni, eventhough the scene afterwards was good, she displayed a bit of classist attitude

Exactly. In her mind she’s watching her son cheat on his fiancé who he’s about to marry in the next few days itself. So her reaction makes sense.
