Applies to Gopal and Arya both. Gopal is an all rounder though smiley36

That was probably because Gopal was basically seeing his mirror image smiley37 and knew what his daughter's life would become if she ended up with someone just like him.

These days he is in self-pitying mode...meri wajah se blah blah and Anu goes no papa no papa.

His idea of solving problems is first talk or raise voice, phir collar pakdo, beg, fall at feet, then lock himself up, then cry with whole family. My bucket gift is still availablesmiley36

Yes even I have started feeling Pushpa is better, a practical lady. Gopal is too concerned about what duniyawale aka mohallewaale will think or talk about them. Middle class walon ki izzat you see. That's his ekamev kamai according to him.

Pushpa is least bothered about naysayers and knows what is best for them.

The Gopal manao track before shaadi will be super irritating. In OG Pushpa asks them to elope because he is so stubborn 😀

On a side note, the actress playing Pushpa is good. Very natural.

Seriously! He bugs me no end these days. Pushpa rani is best- she knows how to shut ppl up very well!

Arre waah...I hope they show them eloping here also...then Gopal and Meera can plan about how to get them backsmiley36

Actually I too have a soft corner for vamps smiley37

Their characters are better written and they have more scope. I usually never have any complaints about them smiley36

Today our teenager came out of her fantasy world and realized not everyone is as impulsive as her and her beloved papa.

He didn't show he trusted me in front of everyone, she wailed in despair. Simran, the only intellectual residing in that mohalla gave her some practical gyan.

Finally those constant lovey-dovey day dreaming looks will stop and she'll take charge of her life (at least that's the hope)

Meanwhile poor practical love-struck guy waiting for saboot is in a dilemma. Upar se the complex Delhi character with Marathi name Jhende (a mix of Narad muni and Chanakya) ne aag mein thoda ghee bhi dala .. pointing him towards Meera. True love this guy has. He doesn't want Anu or Meera near his Arya.

If only the teenager had paid a little more attention to her job, the one given to her on a platter, shown her face a little more in office, even Meera might have tolerated her making goo goo eyes at Arya all the time.

Now do we await the new catering dramas in upcoming episodes?

Bechari Mansi has a wimp for a husband. She had to toughen up to protect her interests. She can't trust family members blindly right? Kab kiski niyat palat jaye ..money has such power.

Phir paisa hai toh attitude toh aayega hi.

The rest of the flaws are fit into the fictional character to make her look bad in front of kismat ki mari female lead. My POV

Seriously yaar.. are these women even vamps?characters could be written badha chada ke to create sympathy...but we can see glimpses of them in our maami, chachi,Bua etc(we are blind to faults of mom and other other members of immediate family..toh dekhenge nahismiley2)...granted they dress far worse than Mansi and lack her finesse and sophistication, but kaam toh yeh log bhi wohi karte hain in real life(but will curse vamps they watch on TV)..waise bhi I dont think that these women are doing anything wrong in real life..maami chaachi ka manipulation kabhi kabhi unka survival skill hotha hai( though it doesn't feel nice to be on the receiving end)

Whether a woman earns ..or has a substantial inheritance or not, she will hate it when her husband is financially exploited by his family..and has to do the heavy lifting for khandaan..ya kuch aur..husbands are sometimes insensitive to their wives POV..they become imbeciles when it comes to his family..unke parents, siblings etc bhagwaan hai..I mean..come on yaar they are humans..bakra kyun bann rahein ho? Ek dum blind to power dynamics of the family..and if the wife objects, she is immediately accused of 'parivaar mein foot dalne' wala crime..parivaar toh hai..but leeches ka parivaar hai kuch mardon ka..weakness dikhaoge toh log advantage lenge hi..

Then..The control the "family " tries to exert on the woman...nitpicking..controlling her activities..etc etc..and label her as 'tez' for even having an opinion..insaan hai toh brain hoga..brain hoga toh opinion bhi hoga..but woe betide if she ever vocalizes her thoughts..beta chahe kuch bhi kahe.saas chahe kuch bhi kahe (she has earned privilege after becoming saas, usse pehle woh bhi chup hi rehthi thi)..saath khoon maaf!!!

And then the shaming women endure for having ambition..sexuality and desires.

Characterless..surpanakha for making the first move..being viewed as public property for having an affair etc etc.. I dont even want to talk about it

Sorry for the rant ..I dont know what triggered me this morning smiley36
