Amanjot Kaur: Honestly, I don’t even know what to expect. To be here again, as a world champion, it’s unbelievable. It’s been such a recovery - from where I was a year ago to where I am now. This means a lot. You can see the crowd - they’re all around us, the energy is incredible. We’re just getting started. We’re going to take it to the next level and dominate across the world, in every moment. I just want to say congratulations to everyone - my family, everyone watching in India and around the world. They’ve supported me, sitting at home, cheering, believing. They’re the ones who helped me the most. I’m so grateful we could do this together. It’s amazing. The fans have been unbelievable. This one’s for all of them - for every woman, for everyone watching, and especially for Pratika. Not everything in life is good - but there’s good in everything. I’m just grateful. Truly grateful.

Smriti Mandhana: Every World Cup we’ve gone into, there have been so many heartbreaks for all of us. But we always believed that we had a bigger responsibility - not just to win, but to keep growing women’s cricket. And honestly, just look at the support we’ve had over the last month and a half. It’s been incredible. To finally lift the World Cup today - I’ll take those 45 sleepless nights any day for this moment. That last World Cup was definitely tough for all of us to take. But after that, we had a clear focus - to get fitter, stronger, and better in every area. And honestly, what’s special about this team - and no one really talks about it - is how much we stuck together. Everyone supported each other, through good days and bad. We genuinely celebrated each other’s success. The team environment this time… it was just so positive, so connected. That’s been the biggest difference, I think.
