The next day everyone remained busy in winding up their pending works in the bureau ,while the two chiefs were out for a meeting with the commissioner till the afternoon.

Deciding to have a coffee break all went to the cafeteria chitchatting among themselves ,when Riya came back to her desk with a coffee mug in her hand only to find Sakshi sitting alone there lost in some thoughts after excusing herself from the group.

"Sakshi, kya hua? Yahan aese akeli kyun baithi ho.?"

Riya asked taking a seat on her desk, and looked at her curiously.

"Nahi kuch nahi bas aese hi."

Sakshi answered her looking down at the papers on her table.

"jarur kuch hua hai , nahi toh tum aaj itni chup chap kyun ho? Kya hua batao. Kisine kuch kaha kya.?"

Riya insisted.

"Um nahi…"

Sakshi thought something before twirling her chair to Riya's direction and resumed speaking.

"Vo Riya mujhe na ek confusion hai, samajh me nahi aaraha hai kya karun."

"Kya confusion hai.?"

Riya raised her brow.

"ummm… meri ek dost hai vo ek ladke ko pasand karti hai…"

Sakshi started and Riya listened attentively.

"Okayyy…"

"Per uski ek aur dost hai jo ussi ladke ko pasand karti hai. Ab meri dost ko samajh me nahi aaraha hai vo kya kare, aur mujhse puchha toh mujhe bhi samajh me nahi araha hai."

"Achha dono me se ladka kisko pasand karta hai.?"

Riya asked.

"Kisiko nahi…sayad.

Aur abhi baat ye nahi hai ki ladka kisko pasand karega ya nahi , problem ye hai ki meri dost ko lagta hai kahin iski wajah se uske aur uske friend ke bich relation kharab na hojaye. Ya phir meri dost ko giveup kar lena chahiye.?"

Sakshi looked at her anxiously, while Riya thought over her situation.

"Kya tumhari dost aur vo dusri ladki ka achhi friendship hai.?"

"Hmm..matlab itna zyada time nahi hua hai unki friendship ko per dono achhe dost hain."

Sakshi answered.

"Toh phir tumhari dost ko bolo usse baat karle, ek ladke ko leke dono ki friendship affect nahi honi chahiye.

Baat karne se clarity aajayegi dono ko ki unki ki feelings uss ladke ke liye genuine hai ya bas infatuation hai."

" Aur agar dono ki feelings genuine hui toh.?"

"Toh iss situation me ye matter karta hai ki ladka kisko chahta hai, agar unn dono me kisiko bhi nahi chahta hoga toh?

Aur agar ek ko chahta hoga toh dusre ko give up karna hi padega. Kisise zabardasti hum feelings ki umeed nahi kar sakte na.

Aur usse samajhna hoga zindagi me hame vo sab kuch nahi milta jo hum chahte hain, aur agar usse vo nahi mila toh ho sakta hai usse bhi zyada achha koi milne wala hoga."

Riya smiled ,and Sakshi nodded chuckling.

Just then they heard commotions from the conference hall and both went to the hall only to find Rathore standing there looking angry and frustrated.

"Good afternoon sir."

Riya murmured grabbing his attention.

"Kya hua Sameer ? Tension me ho."

Sakshi asked.

"Baaki sab kahan hain.?"

Rathore asked sternly looking in between the duo.

"uh vo cafeteria me hain mai bulake laati hun."

Sakshi quickly went away to call others , and within few seconds others came walking to the conference hall.

"Good afternoon sir."

Ayesha, Chhotu, Shree chorused.

"sab kya timepass kar rahe ho? Sara kaam khatam ho gaya.?"

Rathore snapped.

"uh sir…"

Shree fumbled with words, while chhotu beside him kept mum and Ayesha exchanged a look with Riya , Sakshi who too looked worried.

Before Rathore could nap at them again Arjun came walking in the bureau and was approaching his cabin only to be stopped by Rathore's voice.

"Rawte? "

Arjun turned around to face him , meanwhile Rathore stood glaring at him.

"Kisko puchhke tumne SI Vardhan ke case ke liye haan bol diya? Commissioner sir mana kar rahe the phir bhi tum sabke samne bolke aagaye. Akele tum team ke liye faisla nahi le sakte."

Rathore shouted angrily.

"Aur aap sayad bhul rahe hain Sir ETF ko kaunsa case lena hai aur kaunsa nahi ye decision lena ka right ETF ke paas hai."

Arjun reminded him.

"Aur tum sayad bhul rahe ho mai ETF ka chief hun."

Rathore clenched his jaw.

"Bhula nahi hun mai.

issliye tumse puch raha hun hum ye case le rahe hain."

Arjun chirped straight.

"ye tum mujhe puch nahi rahe ho bata rahe ho. Aur mai tumhe bata dun agar tumhe akele karna hai toh karo humme se koi iss case ka part nahi hoga."

Rathore announced ,still glaring him.

"ye faisla hum kyun kare? baakiyon ko decide karne do kaun iss case part hona chahta hai ya nahi."

Arjun shot back , thus Rathore released a sharp breathe turning to others who were watching them silently till then.

"Team, Ratnagiri police station ke SI Vardhan jinpe bribery charges lage hain, aur vigilance investigation kar rahi hai, usne media aur department dono me appeal ki hai ki ETF uska case handle kare.

Aur tumhare second chief the great ACP Arjun commissioner sir ke mana karne ke bawajood case ke liye haan bolke aaye hain. Toh tum logon me se jo bhi Rawte ke sath case me jaana chahta hai vo jaa sakta hai."

Rathore said eyeing each of them intently.

"Sir bribery case me unhe ETF ki kya help chahiye.?"

Shree questioned.

"Vardhan ke ghar me kuch dino pehle ek staff ne suicide kiya tha, per uske baad Vardhan aur uski family ko dhamki mil rahi hai aur ab Vradhan ko lagta hai ki uss staff ki maut sirf ek suicide case nahi hai. Aese me Vardhan apni family ki safety chahta hai."

Arjun explained.

"Per sir uss suicide case ka investigation toh hua hoga, aur staff ki maut se Vardhan aur unki family ki safety kya lena dena ho sakta hai.?"

Riya asked looking at him ,confused.

" ye wahan jaake pata chalega sach me uss staff ki maut ek suicide tha ya kuch aur. Agar sach me ye suicide nahi tha toh Vardhan ki family ko khatra ho sakta hai."

Arjun answered her.

"Aur tum ye kyun nahi kehte Rawte ki vigilance ke pass Vardhan ke khilaf proofs hain , jiski wajah se sabko lagta hai ki vo case divert karne ki koshis kar raha hai."

Rathore interrupted him.

"Rathore , vo case alag hai aur ye alag. Vardhan koi kal ka aaya hua nahi hai jo usse lagega ki case divert karne se uspe upar lagaye huye charges clear ho jaayenge.

Aur yahan behas karke koi faida nahi hai kyunki mai abhi Ratnagiri ke liye nikal raha hun, toh jo bhi mere sath aana chahta hai chale nahi toh mujhe koi fark nahi padta kisike na chalne se."

Arjun said sternly eyeing Rathore, and Sakshi was the first to speak.

"Umm mai chalti hun Arjun ke sath."

"Err sir mai bhi."

Chhotu raised his hand ,whereas others kept mum.

Arjun gave a final look at Rathore and walked out of the bureau followed by Sakshi and chhotu , meanwhile Rathore stormed towards his cabin without uttering another word leaving the rest in a dilemma.

Few hours later…

Rathore was in his cabin with his mind engrossed in some deep thoughts, when he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in."

He answered absentmindedly, and Riya entered in with few papers in her hand.

"Sir SI Vardhan suspend hone se pehle ek case investigate kar rahe the ek factory worker ki maut ki.

Case investigation ke sare process unhone record me likha hai,

Vo worker ek food processing factory me kaam karta tha jahan uski ek din achanak maut hogayi, SI Vardhan factory me investigate kar rahe the tab unhe pata chala factory ki liquid waste pipes ke through ek chhoti si gaanv ke taalab me jaata hai. Uss gaanv ke log taalab ki pani ka use toh nahi karte per jab 2 bache ek din uss taalab me gaye the unki tabiyat bahut kharab hogayi thi.

Ye baat SI Vardhan ne ab tak kisiko nahi bataya hai ,sirf apne record me likha hai jo department ne zabt kiya hai."

Riya breathed in a go.

"Haan.. Toh.?"

Rathore looked at her intently.

"Toh sir SI Vardhan ka isse pehle kabhi koi complain nahi aya tha, infact unhone bahut cases solve kiya hai. Toh 8 saal ki imaandari duty ke baad vo kisise bribe lenge ye baat thodi ajib nahi lagti.?"

Rathore stared at her for a moment before asking her.

"Riya ,aesa kyun lag raha hai tum pichhe mujhe convince karne ke liye Rawte ke sath nahi gayi."

"Uh nahi sir aesi baat nahi hai. Mai bas SI Vardhan ke records check kar rahi thi issliye.."

Rathore released a deep sigh then looked up to her.

"Riya ye baat hum jaante hain, per kya tumhe pata hai Vardhan ke khudke police station se

officers ne statement diya hai ki ye Vardhan ka pehli baar nahi hai bribe lena.

Aur toh aur Vardhan ke khilaf complain karne wale ussi worker ki family hai.

Unka kehna hai ki Vardhan ne unhe waada kiya tha ki vo factory ke khilaf jhhothe saboot laake vo unhe moti rakam dilwayega , jisse 50,000 vo khud lega.

Vo food processing factory kiski hai pata hai? Home minister ke bhatije ki.uss factory me na jaane kitne aur log partner honge.

Hum yahan subah case lenge aur sham tak case close karne ke liye order bhi ajayega.

Aur agar Vardhan ki tarah Rawte bhi zidd pe ada raha toh ya toh Vardhan ki tarah kisi case me fass jayega nahi toh usse yahan se transfer kar diya jaayega nahi toh ETF Team dissolve kardenge."

"per sir iska matlab toh yahi hua ki hum criminals ko protect kar rahe hain aur jo immandari se duty kar rahe hain unhe akele iss system se ladhne ke liye chhod rahe hain."

Riya murmured in a low voice.

"Riya aesa nahi hai. Hum Vardhan ko isse bahar nikalne ki koshish kar rahe hain per jo proofs uske khilaf mile hain uski wajah se hum chah ke bhi samne se uski help nahi kar sakte , per Rawte samajhne ke liye taiyar hi nahi hai."

Rathore sighed.

"Sir…"

Shree hurried in with his tab looking distressed.

"Kya hua shree.?"

Rathore asked.

"Sir news dekhiye."

Shree forwarded his tab to him thus Rathore took a look and Riya peeked over to see the matter.

"National highway pe landslide hua hai, sab wahin pe atke hue hain."

Shree murmured.

Riya asked in surprise , just when Ayesha came running in.

"Arjun sir, Chhotu, Sakshi kisika phone nahi lag raha hai."

Ayesha informed them and shree spoke again.

"Adhe ghante pehle maine Chhotu ko message kiya tha ,vo log highway pahunchne wale the ,ab tak toh unhone highway cross nahi kiya hoga.

Uske baad phone out of reach aaraha hai."

Rathore picked up his phone and quickly dialled a number which was answered from the other side.

"Hello Rathore bol raha hun. Mumbai- Goa highway pe landslide hua hai , uski kya status hai.?"

"Sir yahan kaafi log fase hue hain dono side se. lagatar baarish ki wajah se hua hai. Aur kyunki highway puri tarah se jam hai hum route divert bhi ni kar paa rahe hain , issliye malwa hatane ki koshish kar rahe hain tabhi kuch ho sakta hai."

The person from the other end informed him.

"log fase hue hain kya malwe me.?"

Rathore asked again.

"Nahi sir ab tak death report nahi aayi hai.

2 motorist injured hue hain aur 3 car , per log safe hain aur bheed ki wajah se logon ko zyada pareshani ho rahi hai. Hum koshish kar rahe hain jald se jald line clear karne ki, tabhi kuch pata chal paayega kuch aur log ghayal huye honge toh."

"Okay."

Rathore cut the call, when Ayesha asked first.

"Sir kya hua.?"

"Ab tak koi death report nahi aayi hai, kuch log ghayal huye hain aur zyadatar log fase hue hain. Road clear karne ki koshish ki jaa rahi hai aur tabhi pata chalega kitne aur log ghayal hain."

Rathore answered.

"Sir toh hame wahan chalna chahiye."

Riya said in urgency, to which her other two friends agreed by nodding their heads.

"chalo."

Rathore grabbed his car key and they walked out trying out the phone numbers again hoping they would be reachable.

On reaching the site they stood among a sea of vehicles in line waiting for the route to be cleared ,some waiting inside the car, some outside getting drenched in the drizzle, and some honking hopelessly.

"ye line dekh ke toh lag raha hai aaj raat nikal jaayega clear hone me."

Shree mumbled in disbelief eyeing at his front and back where more cars came in line including the media cars , ambulance.

"itni bheed me hum unn teeno ko dhundenge kahan.?"

Ayesha asked to herself.

"yahan network bhi nahi hai."

Rathore groaned.

"Sir hum aage tak chalke jaate hain ,agar vo log iss taraf honge toh mil jaayenge."

Riya said eyeing them hopefully, and others nodded their heads walking ahead amidst the drizzle.

"Yaar Ri ek ghante se upar ho gaya hai ab toh baarish bhi ruk gayi hai per ye log ab tak mile nahi.

Aur hum bas aage chalte jaa rahe hain, Rathore sir aur Ayesha bhi pichhe reh gaye hain . Aur aage chalna hai kya.?"

Shree huffed leaning back on a random car, while Riya too breathed a sigh.

"Kya lagta hai tumhe vo log nikal gaye honge.?"

"Meri calculation ke hisab se toh abhi yahan hone chahiye the, per jaise vo log mil nahi rahe hain lagta hai Arjun sir gaadi uda rahe the."

Shree answered.

"Arjun hum yahan gaadi me kya kar rahe hain? Bahar nahi jaa sakte kya? Dekho log bahar nikal ke udhar kahin group me jaa rahe hain."

Sakshi pointed at people who were walking towards the other side of the road after ditching their cars.

"Tumhe jaana hai toh jaa sakti ho unke sath."

Arjun chirped straight staring ahead.

Chhotu shook his head at Sakshi motioning her to not go alone in the dark , thus Sakshi sighed heavily sticking her head out of the window randomly looking at people , just when her gaze fell on someone.

"Chhotu, vo shree hai na.?"

"Huh? Shree? Vo yahan kahan se hoga.?"

Chhotu asked from the front stealing a glance at her , along with Arjun.

"Haan vo bhi hai, mujhe shree jaisa la….ek minute mujhe toh Riya ki tarah bhi koi dikh rahi hai."

"Kya bol rahi ho.?"

Chhotu too stuck his head out to see where she was looking at, and was surprised the next moment.

"Arey haan ye toh shree hai."

"Sath me Riya bhi hai dusri taraf, dono baat kar rahe hain."

Sakshi added, thus Arjun got off the car followed by Chhotu and Sakshi respectively.

"shree ? Riya."

Sakshi called out aloud making heads turn including the duo she was calling for.

"Ahhh mil gaye finally."

Shree breathed in relief walking towards them ,and Riya rushed towards them.

"Aap log thik hain.?"

Riya asked eyeing Arjun then the other two.

"Tum log yahan kya kar rahe ho.?"

Arjun asked back, straight.

"Vo hum sab aap logon ko dhund rahe the , hame laga aap log yahan fasse huye hain."

Shree answered him.

"Hum sab matlab aur kaun hai.?"

Chhotu asked, not able to hide his smile on hearing their reason.

"Rathore sir aur Ayesha bhi hain , vo dono aarahe hain."

Riya looked back to spot them nearby but couldn't find them.

"Fasse huye toh hain per ye dekh ke achha laga tum log hame dhundne ke liye yahan tak agaye, per tum log bheege huye kyun dikh rahe ho.?"

Sakshi eyed Riya's slight wet hair , shree's wet jacket.

"Ahh vo toh hum jab yahan aaye halki si baarish chal rahi thi ,aur chalke dhundne me hi itne bheeg gaye."

Shree replied roaming a hand over his head.

"Kyun? Kab se dhund rahe the hame.?"

Chhotu raised his brow at them.

Riya abruptly kept mum exchanging a look with Shree, as Shree spoke.

"Um 1 ghante se."

Sakshi , chhotu looked at each other in surprise then turned to Arjun who maintained a neutral face keeping mum ,and Chhotu spoke up.

"Ek kaam karo tum dono gaadi me baitho mai dekhke aata hun Rathore sir aur Ayesha ko."

"Chhotu mai bhi chalti hun, gaadi me baithe baithe bore ho gayi hun."

Sakshi accompanied chhotu, meanwhile Shree , Riya went inside the car and Arjun sat back on the driver seat.

Shree gulped down water from a bottle , and Riya flipped her hair to drain the water droplets from it when Arjun started scolding.

"Bache nahi hai hum jo kho gaye the, aur tum sab dhundne aagaye."

Shree abruptly paused himself from gulping the water in his mouth since he was sitting right beside Arjun ,and Riya stared at Arjun's side face from the backseat before replying.

"Hum jaante hain sir per aap log bhi toh centre me kisiki death news sunke wahan pahunch gaye the humpe check karne,ye toh usse bhi bada haadsa hai."

Arjun looked up to the rearview mirror to glare at her but instead found her already looking at him unbothered by his glare, and hence he looked ahead shutting his mouth, while Shree moved his hand to the back of his seat showing her a thumbs up silently.

Within few minutes Chhotu, Sakshi came back along with Rathore and Ayesha who looked tired as hell and Ayesha was limping as they approached the car.

"Aap dono kahan reh gaye the.aur Ayesha tumhare pair ko kya hua.?"

Riya asked as soon as they stood near the car.

"Vo ek pregnant lady fass gayi thi bich me, toh hum unhe ambulance tak pahunchane me help kar rahe the, wahan late hogaya. Aur ye thodi si moch agayi."

Ayesha replied her.

"Sab thik ho.?"

Rathore asked to no one particular.

"Sameer hum thik hain bas gaadi me pak gaye the, achha hua tum sab bhi aagaye."

Sakshi grinned.

"Sir aap andar ajaiye."

Shree tried to get off the passenger seat, only to be stopped by Rathore.

"Rehne do Shree mujhe nahi baithna, wese bhi adhe se zyada log uss taraf jungle ki aur jaa rahe hain , open space hai wahan safe jagah hai.

Hum kuch dair wahan wait karte hain jab tak line clear ni ho jaata, wese bhi malwa hatane me aur time lagega."

"Haan ye thik rahega."

Ayesha agreed to him quickly.

"Great , maza ayega."

Sakshi too agreed, when Arjun interrupted them.

"Mai nahi jaa raha hun."

"Jisse ana hai aaye nahi toh yahin baithe rahe."

Rathore snapped before walking away , thus Riya sighed stealing a glimpse of Arjun then followed her friends out of the car.

As they walked towards where the groups of people making their way to , they stood amazed by the scenario in front of them.

"Kuch bhi kaho hamare logon ka jawab nahi.

Muskil situation me bhi masti nahi chhodte."

Sakshi chuckled eyeing numerous people gathered around with torch and mobile lights ,some trying hard to start a bonfire , some chilling with their companions , some young people playing music ,some eating snacks ,kids playing around.

"Lagta hai yahan koi playground tha pehle."

Shree murmured noticing the old concrete stairs surrounding the ground in the middle those were filled with moss , and yet people managed to sit around busy in their own world.

They went ahead stepping down the stairs with Sakshi helping Ayesha with her sprained leg , while Shree, chhotu kept admiring the lively atmosphere and Rathore just looked plainly uninterested but at the same time concerned about Ayesha.

Arjun came walking there shortly afterwards and chose the top most corner of the stairs, the space from where he was almost unnoticeable and sat leaning back on his arms, stretching his legs in a relaxing manner as he observed the site in front of him quietly.

Above the head the night was growing darker , even though the rain had stopped since a while but the gentle breeze was enough to soothe the souls and restrict the bonfire those people were trying hard to keep lit on , but that didn't stop them from having fun amidst the crisis probably because they were with their own people to feel safe and sound.

Arjun could hardly see anyone alone out there except him ,and for a moment he watched how happy they looked having someone to laugh or share their worries with , that they found their moment of joy and a break from their hectic life.

He blinked his eyes trying to shift his gaze to somewhere else but he just could not.

Suddenly his chain of thoughts were brought to an abrupt halt as he felt a movement beside him and he finally tore his gaze from the crowd to the side and the first thing he noticed was leaves.

Big fat leaves were being neatly put on the concrete surface and he slowly moved his gaze up to find Riya busy in putting the leaves with her one hand and a paper cup in her other hand.

Once after the arrangement was settled she sat on the leaves, putting the paper cup near him that he found was a tea cup.

confused as to whether ask her from where she got the leaves first or the tea , he just stared at her face until she noticed his facial expression and spoke up.

"um ye chai ka cup Rathore sir ko complementary mila hai .

Vo do (two) families Goa vacation ke liye jaa rahe the aur yahin atak gaye hain, toh unke paas saman tha chai banane ka.

Aur unn logon ne Rathore sir aur Ayesha ko uss pregnant lady ki help karte huye dekha tha issliye 2 chai ki cup unhone samne se sir ke liye diya aur sir ne ek aapko dene ke liye kaha."

Riya explained, thus he straightened himself looking away without uttering a word.

Both sat in silence just gazing ahead when Riya glanced at him after a while before speaking up.

"Sir kya aapko lagta hai hum system ke against jaake vardhan ko bacha sakte hain.?"

"Logon ko bachana kaam hai hamara."

Came his swift reply as he picked up the paper cup and took a sip of the tea.

"Rathore sir keh rahe the agar hum iss case me involve hote hain toh ETF dissolve bhi ho sakta hai, ya phir team se kisiki transfer.

Agar dono me se kuch bhi hua toh Vardhan ko help kaise karenge hum.?"

She asked again.

" Vardhan aur uski family ko kuch nahi hoga phir chahe ETF dissolve ho jaye , kisiki transfer ho jaaye ya phir koi terminate ho jaye."

Arjun murmured determinedly, thus she stared at him for a moment intently.

"Aap sab kuch daanv pe laga rahe hain taaki ek police officer ko apni imandaari duty ki keemat apni family ko khoke na chukana pade."

She chirped in a low voice, and he kept mum afterwards.

"Aapne jab ETF join kiya tha sir, department me sabka kehna tha aap bahut recklessly kaam karte hain, kisiki parwaah nahi karte.

Per sayad unn logon ne kabhi aapko samajhne ki koshish nahi ki."

"Sahi sochte hain vo log , mai kisiki parwaah nahi karta siwaye apne duty ke. Aur sabke liye achha yahi hoga ki mujhe samajhne ki koshish karne ke wajaye apne apne kaam pe dhyan de."

He said interrupting her curtly, then quickly added.

"wese achha hi hai ki Rathore aur tum sab ne case me involve hone se mana kar diya, mai …"

"Per sir abhi toh hum yahin hain."

Riya said interrupting him this time, and hence he turned his head to her for a second registering her words , then looked back ahead while she resumed speaking.

"Haan yahan aane ka main reason toh aap logon ko dhundna tha, per iska matlab ye bhi hai ki hum bhi aap logon ke sath aarahe hain case ke liye."

"Rathore tum sabko yahan leke aaya hai, ya tum sab Rathore ko.?"

He asked nonchalantly.

"Koi kisiko leke nahi aya hai, hum sab khudse aaye hain. Na Rathore sir ne humse puchha aur na hi humne Rathore sir se."

she answered, but she could see he didn't believe her words.

"Kyun sir , aapke liye ye manna kya itna muskil hai ki aapki team aapke liye care karti hai.?"

She asked , and no response came in return which she kind of expected already and smiled turning back ahead ,when her gaze fell on Sakshi ,Shree dancing with a group of people and Sakshi seemed to be in her own world ,while Shree was dancing with some girl and there was Chhotu, standing near the group not dancing but frowning at Shree whereas Ayesha was sitting on the stairs clapping for them with Rathore nowhere to be seen.

"Sir mai abhi aati hun."

She said to Arjun quickly sprinting off the stairs and straight went to her friends.

On reaching near them she patted on Chhotu's forearm making him turn around and she offered her hand to him for dance which Chhotu took happily twirling her around and Riya let him do the half crooked dance until Shree noticed them.

leaving the girl he was dancing with Shree came towards them to join, but chhotu was quick enough to push Riya behind him to not let Shree take her.

"Kyun ab kya hua? Jaa na uss ladki ke sath dance kar. Tumhe toh ladkiyan samne se aake puch rahi thi na dance ke liye."

Chhotu raised his brow playfully.

"Arey aesa kya kar rahe ho , mai tum dono ka dost nahi hun kya.?"

Shree whined , and Riya laughed along with Ayesha.

"Ek kaam karo Riya ,tum dono ko ghumao."

Ayesha said and Riya agreed to her standing on a rock and held both shree , chhotu's hand twirling them ,laughing some more.

Rathore tried contacting the commissioner's number for the umteenth time but in vain since the network kept fluctuating,just when he noticed Arjun at a distance and decided to ask him instead.

"Rawte, tumhare phone me network hai toh commissioner sir ko phone Karo mujhe baat karni hai."

Rathore said in urgency walking up to him,but got no response in return.

"Tumne suna maine kya kaha.?"

He asked again ,yet got no reply.

"Rawte.?"

Confused as to what he was so focused at to not able to hear him , Rathore followed Arjun's gaze that landed near the group of people dancing down the stairs along with Shree ,Chhotu ,Riya and somewhere Sakshi in the middle of the crowd.

Since Sakshi dancing a little far from her friends,and Ayesha sitting on the stairs cheering for her friends were hardly noticeable the only people left to be stared at , were the trio and Rathore's forehead creased a little at the realisation but before he could react Arjun sensed someone's presence and stood up immediately.

"Tum kuch keh rahe the.?"

"Huh.?

Haan tumhare phone me network hai.?"

Rathore asked looking up to him.

"Nahi."

Arjun answered quickly and was about to walk away but stopped on remembering something then turned to face Rathore again.

"Abhi bhi time hai tum mind change karke bureau wapas Jaa sakte ho.

Mai kal tak Sakshi aur Chhotu ko bhi wapas bhej dunga."

"Tumhe baar baar ye kyun yaad dilana padta hai ki ETF ka chief mai hun?

Tum pehle hi apni manmani kar chuke ho,ab mujhe karne do Jo karna hai ."

Rathore snapped ,thus Arjun walked away wordlessly and Rathore stared at his retreating figure then at where his team was still dancing.

I am liking how how my irritation on khadoos Rawte changing to positivity lol. He and riya has their own things now- driving car, water, how Arjun notice Riya etc. i liked that monologue of Riya regarding women safety. I wonder why arjun didn't let her drive lol... That gusse mein gadi tez chalati ho was so observant and funny
