Off-screen, yes. 

Ranbir is a very good actor. He has that aura on silverscreen...a striking presence which is a mark of every good artist.

Alia on the hand is a good actor but there is nothing special or striking about her.

Both of them are great actors that India has never experienced before. Consider yourself fortunate that they have been born that too in India.
