he was the prince of BW,everybody must have thought he would have a smooth transition to becoming the king(no offence to SRK and multiple expressions he is able to show in matter of seconds),but after YJHD it has been few highs and more lows for him.Everybody(even those with blue ticks,AndhraPradeshBO on twitter being one example)isn't even convinced of the BO figures the industry has been giving out,so I think his next 2-3 movies need to come out before anything can be said.

And that is completely okay because he’s staying young till the cows come home

Wait for his next 2 movies . Brahmastra’s whole credit doesn’t go to Ranbir , at least for me.

Yes it helps. His next movie will be anticipated more and have more audience for sure.

As Sid said in KWK - success changes lots of things.

Ranbir seems to have decided to be cautious and work only with directors with a proven track record -those who have delivered big hits like Hirani,Venga, Luv Ranjan or with big banners like Yashraj, Dharma, Excel. The downside is that he won't get the complete credit for delivering a hit.

I believe that the media scrutiny, social media discussions, blinds, posts from ppl who have interacted them in real life is what has taken away that star appeal. Since now you have a better chance at knowing the real person. Warna with the kind of stuff Rajesh Khanna and others did, ajke time me dhulai ho jani thi.

When all this didnt exist, you just put the star on a pedestal and they stayed there coz no one burst your bubble much.

Now, they get called out the second they try any BS. Which is a good thing. So now you cant be a superstar just bcoz your films do well, you gotta be a decent person as well.

But I have to say, I used to love stealing mom's magazines and reading the gossip and explosive interviews that Filmfare and all these magz used to publish. Some actors had no filter back then😆

re-cement is the keyword here. Matlab Ambuja ka jod kabhi nahin tha, kabhi hoyega bhi nahin. Aur woh Vanga wala film pitega.
