I never said that it would break KGF2 and RRR s records definitely. I was hoping for the best. I knew it would do well but not more than the other two movies.

RRR came after bahubali parts 1 and 2. Rajamouli was already a brand

KGF 2 came after KGF1

While Brahmastra is just the introduction to the trilogy. Still it managed to achieve great number . 45 cr is no joke.

I do recall @Hasini009 saying something about RRR or KGF2 to which you replied that it might cross them as well then she went if doesn't then you won't watch it but you said that you can't do that as you are going for FDFS, I don't remember the post or exact words exchanged between you two

So yes, the numbers are pretty good

KGF part 1 and Bahubali part 1 are films which broke barriers of language, they had tougher task than raking money for makers, which isn't the case with Brahmastra.

If you are going to tell me that Brahmastra is an underdog film like KGF 1 and Bahubali 1 then I'd say you can believe it if you want to but we know the truth

Brahmastra is in the same boat. This movie is also being released in various languages. Also, yes Brahmastra is kind of an underdog. This is Ayan s first big-budget project. Hell, people on this forum have been shouting since past 7 years of how brahmastra will not even able to collect 10 cr on its opening day. But it did . it did prove everyone wrong

This propaganda a reminder that Liger got 30+ crore on its first day too. Karan has the best propaganda ever. I mean a film that cost 400 crore barely beat Liger. ''non holiday'' really?!

Bahubali 1 WW screen count was about 4000 screens

KGF 1 India screen count was less than 2500 screens

Brahmastra worldwide screen count is over 8000 screens

Brahmastra is the widest release for a Hindi film in India and overseas yet it couldn't cross War which released in about 4000 screens in India. War wasn't a brand, was it?

RRR and KGF2 released in about 10,000 screens, Brahmastra is closer to RRR and KGF2 in terms of release and treatment. Its not an underdog

PS - I am not concerned with collection of this film, I was just making a point that its obvious that when someone is investing as much as makers have in Brahmastra, these numbers are not good
