Taapsee is not realising how much damage she is going to do to her career and Dunki.

Hirani already faces heat due to PK, SRK is hated for being Khan and Taapsee has already invited ire of RW for her tweets against govt and attending CAA protests. This woman thinks she is bindaas or fearless and her claim to fame is controversial statements only, including rants against her own community.

Now she spoke about boycotts also. I bet her statements will be used as contrast when Dunki is attacked by IT cell or suffers any controversy or dent due to her.

Dunki team really needs to keep her in control or shorten her role or keep her away from promotions lest this blabbermouth causes more controversy.

It’s not only celebs. In any profession, where you are providing a service or a product, if you badmouth or treat your client as idiots or act snobbish, no one will choose you. For actors, movie-goers are their clients.

If Kareena’s gonna make dumb statements people will get offended. If she actually doesn’t care then why snap and talk like that? Even “in context” that statement reeks of snobbery and arrogance.

Well said, the perils of being a celebrity are in todays world your statements will be scrutinized, better to learn to be calm and balanced.

Worse is the verbal diarrhea of some body like tapsee last week. when you know movies are going through a tough phase and you have a big movie which lots of people are depending on is coming up, won’t you have a some empathy and pipe down atleast for others sake.

A lot of fans use this statement to defend their fav movie/show/actor - that lot of people’s effort and livelihood depend on it so cut it some slack etc. then why don’t some of these actors, who make controversial statements which may jeopardize the film, do the same?

Taapsee and Swara are just like Kangana of LW. Just not as hateful, unhinged and abusive as her.

They gotta yelp on everything and get into fights with everyone online and are known more for Twitter fights than their acting assignments.

If I were a filmmaker I would never hire such volatile celebs who always get into political or communal controversies or jump in even those controversies that have nothing to do with them.

exactly, we all face difficult situations professionally where we have keep our organizations interests above us

these ppl dont even have minimum gratitude and proessionalism. they have got drunk on their own coolade that they are holier than thou and are some great warriors, just like other professions nobody will want to be associated with such volatile ppl
