Since this is a AU thread about shivi and we can discuss about kanwar and Alice, i wanted to write something about raavi and Alice.i don't know why, I just feel like writing something for her.
I saw a scene of a beautiful girl who was worried that her curls will be messed up if she jumps from the window.her famous dlg " pran jaaye par looks na jaye ".i chuckled at it. Who is this crazy girl? Then i saw her bike scene with shiva. The chemistry was oozing onscreen.i started following the show and fell in love with raavi.who wouldn't? The marriage track made me feel for her,i bet a tear slipped down my eyes when i saw her trying to kill herself.her wedding breakdown with jag soona soona lage playing in the background will be one of the most beautifully enacted scenes of the show for me.
Then i remember i had seen the actress somewhere else.of course.she was playing a negative role in another show.raavi is completely opposite to pari, yet she nailed it and how.
Then i started following Alice kaushik.The girl who brought raavi to life onscreen.i saw her interviews in Segments, which were usually with kanwar.then i saw a solo interview on sbs live.thodi sehemi huyi thi, and her innocence was visible on her face when she was answering the questions. The actor who plays Rishita walked in and she praised her and hugged her. She said how she loves the character of rishita and they share a wonderful bond offscreen.they danced together and completed the iv.
I would catch a glimpse of her in the reels and BTS of other actors. She was sleeping away on kanwars shoulders in one. She was snuggling with the actress who plays maami in another. She was hugged by the actress who pays dhara in another.
She came across as the baby of PS sets who would take a power nap in between shots.reels? I am too tired for that.
She rarely gives interviews and is a very private person.How i wish I could know more about her.then i saw her KDice live sessions.a calm, sweet girl who would answer everyone patiently, play with kanwars biceps, share a joke with his brother and do all sorts of crazy goofy antics.
Her close knit group of friends, her beautiful posts, be it poetry, be it quotes,be it about how she loves animals, be it thanking her fans or be it for kanwar.her every post and story made me love and respect her more.she never opened up about her struggles, there was a hint here and there but i am sure she has faced a lot and is standing strong where she is now.
She is a celebrity, but feels like she is just a normal girl like you and me who is facing the struggles of life with a smile and trying to better herself at what she does each single day.no glamorous pics( though I would love to see a photoshoot of Alice) ,a simple yet amazing fashion sense,no airy celebrity vibes , respectful towards her fans, cordial with everyone around her,humble and down to earth and an unverified Insta account.yes a female lead of a prime time show on starplus who is too lazy to get her insta account verified.looks like kanwar really has to put the blue tick using a sketch pen! .from loving raavi, I went to loving Alice.i never knew what it feels like to be a fan of someone, because I never was.i would call the people who would feel good or bad because of what is happening with their favourite actors crazy. You don't even know them dude.now I know what it feels like.i want to see her happy, smiling and blessed with lots of success and love.

Pixie this made emotional ❤️🥺 Everything you have written are the same thoughts I have about Raavi and Alice.I love how Raavi as a character is but what makes it beautiful is what Alice portrays Raavi with her exceptional acting skills.Raavi is a character who has less dialogues if you see but Alice’s facial expressions and eyes speaks volumes of unexpressed emotions, the slight Change of point on expression of reactions to others dialogues.Even I loved her broke down scene both when she was rejected at the mandap and when she burned her dairy with dua bgm.I have been a self claimed fans of many actors and actors actress but it was because of the characters they played and I have eventually even forgotten most of them and don’t even foLlosa them on social media but I guess Alice Kaushik is the first actress who made me fall in love both with character she plays and even as person she is.I am never going to forget ever in my life ,she is the first actress I admire as person who she is and as you said thats what makes her unique from others that she has never told her struggles she has gone through and I respect her for that though I would love to know.She feels like one of us ❤️Originally posted by: Pixiepadhi

Have watched this show from the beginning-but didn’t ‘follow’ it until Adult Raavi entered.
It used to be my regular back ground watch preleap, catching my eye here & there - used to come to forum if miss something- but was nothing here.
It was after adult Raavi joined, Shiva & Raavi’s banters started- realized: this is Pari! The ease with which Alice brought in the innocence to Raavi, after playing Pari on same chanel just a year ago- Is commendable.
it was The wedding track: mehandi & haldi matka scene- ‘chakra gayaa na’ at baraat- the Innocent Enthusiasm of Raavi portrayed by Alice , again effortlessly on point!
And the her breakdown, her first reaction and denial, to cries : and that one look Kanwar gives to noose & to her:
That had all my heart!
that’s what made me completely connect to this show!
Something SO strong, SO delicate & yet SO powerful!
Alice has added dimensions to Raavi’s character every step of the way! Even when narrative & story was written to show her stupid , scenes were edited with comedy bg music: it was her innocent portrayal that brought in very protective connect to Raavi!
my other favorite scene from Divorce kaand is : when family is discussing ramleela script - Suman snatches from her - and she quietly retreats back to kitchen : looking at them all!
camera was not even focusing on her, she had zero dialogues: But that simplest of ‘in the character’ act gave me so much pain!

I have never followed any actor online neither I was never a fan of any one of them and I was not interested in this also yet I am here following them and interested in them and being their fan for the first time.❤❤❤
In the show, I connect most to Raavi out of all the characters one of the reason is Alice playing that role. Raavi as a character is not given much importance or strong dialogues every time yet I feel very connected to her even with wrong bgm because of the emotions beautifully portrayed by Alice.
I started watching PS due to insta clips of wedding season. And one of the reason of my starting was Raavi's breakdown in wedding. It was so heart breaking yet touched everyone's heart❤❤
