Second best to Maan - Page 3

With the current intensity of MaAn, feel like all other couples were so feeka when I look back. Me was always fan of light hearted, breezy stories. Had it been not for GK, I would have never tuned to Anupama.

One of my favorite was Bade Bhaiyya ki Dulhaniya on Sony. It isn’t intense love story but light hearted one which I enjoyed a lot but I hate Sony for scrapping it too soon.

Patiala babes was good too...for me it lives till hanuman and babita

One thing common in all replies across channels and serials is they spoil a good story after sometime..that's the sad reality of ITV

Agreed, now after MaAn when I look back i too feel that few are fika. And that's how life is with experience our perspective changes...

unlike the character growth in ITV, we do evolve.

Ktlk ka original bhi tha? Kis zamane main. I definitely shipped mohnish and kritika but not ssharad.

KTLK ka original matlab the concept was from a Pakistani show called dhoop kinare...I didnt care for the show after Sharad...

and hope didnt watch pkyek, even DMG I watched jab tak KaJen the then new entries ke baad chod diya...

I watch shows mostly for the chemistry, chahe leads ki ho ya kiski bhi...

Thoda dhyan se.. waise did you really liked 640 epis...I generally stop after 100-200 episode, because by then original story charm would have gone..

Anupama is opposite, original story was boring, only after Anuj entry got interested. Let's see how long we stay committed.

On side note, your DP, I followed Geet for Maan then. See after all these years again me falling here for MaAn in a way. Anuj is such lovely well sketched character.

I'll only recommend 2 shows, as I've been crazy about these 2 pairs only and still is (before and along with #maAn)

1. Geet Hui Sabse parayi - available on hotstar

It's about 10 yrs old so might require a different perspective but the couple has bit #maAn vibes, more of damsel in distress kind of story (incidentally the lead male is called maan...lol)

2. Jodha akbar - available on zee5 (I think the relationship is a bit toxic in the beginning so I'll categorise this as dark romance but amazing chemistry b/w leads and the show itself is a work of art specially if you're interested in politics and only recommend till episode 400 because it's typical balajee after that😀)

If you watch them I'll be most interested to know how you liked them.

Nope but I was deeply involved by then so couldn't stop, just skipped to ram-priya scenes mostly.

Never got over maan-geet ever. And my biggest reason for joining maAn bandwagon is yeah... The name.

Another couple I'm absolutely crazy about is jodha-akbar I rediscovered them in my quarantine period.

Thank you for tagging me but I'm useless in this dept.. Hadnt watched any itv shows till few months back.. Somehow bcz of some relatives stumbled across the last track of yrkkh after the fl's death, and while I was watching that saw anuj ki entry ka promo so started watching anupama.. Saw the condensed backstory then.. Now yrkkh has started a new track with generation leap and its bull so only anupama is nice. Tried a few other shows that are currently running like. Ghkkpm and mhrw but nothing is good.
