It's a journey of Akshara undestanding her Rishta with Abhimanyu.

I haven't been on IF for a very longtime. The last was Bepannah and back again for Harshad Chopda. I like the intensity he brings to his characters.

But coming to the topic of this post.

The title of this serial is : Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai. In this generation Abhimanyu has already identified that Akshara is the one he belongs to. But maybe the directors want to Aksharas journey of realising that come what may Abhimanyu is the one for her.

Maybe that was the reason for the initial rush of Abhimanyu instantly and deeply falling in love with Akshara and Akshara taking time. Maybe it's about her is learning to acknowledge that Arohi isn't her life's priority and that she should also put her own happiness.

And because she hasn't yet understood the deepness of her feelings towards Abhimanyu she is not thinking about herself. She is yet to come out of that phase of 'Meri Arohi'. The day she understands that Abhimanyu is her soulmate she will forget everything else.

So I think because that is season is more about the journey of Akshara realising her Rishta with Abhimanyu.

And therefore we are seeing these multiple rejection from her. And this is where the story begins of how they come together even after exeriencing all this high emotional drama

This.... Is so on point. You have actually told a lot and the base of the story.

But I think a lot of us have problem here is that they are not showing any progression that comes with love at first sight and how the makers and writers are just copying the Bengali remake nd bina kuch kaam kiye paise le rhe hain. Writing is about creativity and if the writer is just adding some few changes in the scenes and not adding his own then there is no writer left. Nd makers are just adding lollipops in name of execution of story 🥲

I agree with you in this regard. Though I haven't watched any previous seasons nor the originals, I would prefer a little fresh take on the story.

The original should be an inspiration and the changes should be done to suit today's contexts and current situations. A blind copy paste is just that.

Here they have extremely talented actors. The story should put forth a challenge to their skills even though it is an inspiration of another.

I am here to watch Harshad and now for Pranali coz she is very cute and is convincing as Akshara.

Agreed! Like HC said in his IV ki Abhi has no experience himself but he has views/perceptions based on what he has seen in the world around him. From Abhi's perspective everything is clear. He saw the looks, ishare, the unspoken emotion in her eyes etc, he can see she loves him too, he realised he is in love, so deeply in love...whats next? live together, with her in his life. He knew she priortises her family, so he went to ask for her hand which Akshu was happy about till the misunderstanding as well. Abhira has been potrayed as soulmates, they have dil ka connection but they dont know a lot about each other. He doesnt know the baggage she is living with and neither does she know about his. They dont have any solid relationship for now, which is why they are in this mess. Any relationship has its honeymoon phase uske baad you see the differences & the ulgy sides of each other. This is theirs. From now hopefully they will learn, understand each other and form a proper relationship. Their little sapling of love needs a lot of sunshine & water to grow in strength.

Waise bhi lot of people rightly said before that the fast paced love story is not a good base for relationship. Now Abhira are living with the consequences of not forming a proper relationship after falling in love lol. Also agar Akshu confess karti like Abhi dreat tho Shaadi bhi phat se hojati or kuch mahino or ek saal mein 4th generation ajati (even if you drag all the potential tracks) LOL.

As for Akshu's brutual rejection in front of the family, given her reactions in the past episodes she must have wanted to confess and clear things but something happened that made her do this. And the brutuality is probably to make Abhi dislike her or atleast his family to dislike her. To put a complete full stop to Abhira. She is acting as per her character traits. Now seeing the aftermath of this heartbreak would be intresting.

If they are planning to make Akshara realise that what she wants she will get it from Abhimanyu and then their story will restart properly then it will be acceptable that they are giving time to understand each other and their dil ka connection can be justified.
