Wow! This is indeed one of the best news for all Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor fans. The talented duo will be coming together where they will be seen playing the role of Raavan and Ram.

As per reports, " Ranbir and HR were papped at the filmmaker Jacky Bhagnani’s office. And since then speculations are rife that the filmmaker is planning to make a film with these two stars, The latest reports suggested that Hrithik and Ranbir visited Namit Malhotra’s office for a closed-door meeting around the magnum opus Ramayana. The meeting was also reportedly attended by Nitesh Tiwari, Namit and Madhu Mantena.

As per report in Pinkvilla, “This was among their first joint meeting with Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, who play Raavan and Ram respectively. They discussed the massive vision of this project and even the tentative plans of taking it on floors sometime in the second half of next year.

The report further states, “The team wants to make a massive announcement with a creative featuring the three principal characters - Ram, Raavan and Sita."

Well, the makers haven’t yet finalised the actress who will play Sita. 

Ranbir Kapoor 's next release is Shamshera along with Vaani Kapoor. While Hrthik Roshan will be seen with Deepika Padukone in an action packed film Fighter.

Coming back to this magnum opus film. Who do you want to see playing Sita?

I can't imagine Ranbir as Ram.  He's too boyish for that.

Ranbir as Ram? Naah.. He fits roles of Lakshman or Bharat better. 

It's difficult to surpass Vikram's Raavan for Hrithik but it's easy for him to surpass Abhishek's Raavan. 

I wish Aishwarya again plays SITA. Atleast audience will see her with her best pair Hrithik long after Guzaarish. Her chemistry with Hrithik was best in Jodhaa Akbar but she and him were really superb in all three films. 

Hrithik as Raavan? Come on, please get someone who won't overact.
