When I first heard about it... I as like oh no, bad choice. Then when I heard OTT I was like okay may not be that bad.

The thing is people especially after how the actor departed won't be able to accept Shaheer in the place of Sushant unless he does a very vey good job.

The thing with OTT is that it is nit driven by TRP. The show being released on OTT will not do that much damage to his career even if there is negative response. So now, he shouldn't be very worried. If it was being released on TV the story would have been different.

No idea about what this role will do to Shaheer’s career, but I think they should have left this serial untouched as a tribute to Sushant’s memory. After all, this was the serial that made him a household name and it would be nice to have his name forever associated with the role of Manav.

That show and the story of the leads was exhausted. I think they did show whatever they could of Archana and Manav. This attempt at recreating a story for an OTT platform with limited episodes seems to be a ploy to garner eyeballs, nothing else. They could have let it untouched.

IMO, airing re-runs of the original show with Sushant is a better tribute than attempting to recreate it for a medium (OTT) which doesn't suit it in any way.
