What are those moments/scenes which you remember on screen which yield fleeting perfection—moments ts remembered forever, which really touched your hearts?

Moments where you saw a dim reflection of yourselves—imperfect, complex? Moments which you can go back and revisit whenever you wanted?

I don't know why... but this moment moves me so much. The tears that flow down his eyes with the rain pouring. It's just so beautiful. I've never fallen in love before but at that moment, I can feel that Sid's realization of his love for Aisha and his happiness upon learning that Aisha loves him too.

THIS. It's like watching a couple get intimate. I want to be loved like that. So tender, so soft, so romantic. Every frame is beautiful and perfect.

This whole movie is GOLD, but  this part where Ranveer Singh's character tries to tie the leaf to the tree, is so damn PERFECT. The addition of the song 'Zinda' just takes it a notch higher. It hits you in the feels. It is so poetic. It is so heartbreaking, yet so romantic. Even if you've not seen the movie, just watching this scene on its own, will move you.

I will come back with more.

WOW. Thanks so much for sharing all this❤️

I agree, that scene in Wake Up Sid always moves me to tears. And the other scenes, I watched them. They're so beautiful

Ok i can't embed it but this video, particularly the hero's crying from 2:47 to 3:34.It is so realistic and i can feel the gut wrenching pain the character is going through.

I really like your topic. Got me thinking and revisiting some of my favourites.

Also, I realised that most of my favourites seem to be song videos rather than actual dialogue because I find a lot of the dialogue in Indian cinema either too melodramatic, sappy or one that attempts to be inspirational, though there are some exceptions of course):

The simplicity of a couple sitting by the river at the wake of dawn.. feeling sad that they'll part soon. The silence, the stillness, their innocence. And the lyrics/song.

This scene. The raw passion/intensity with which Shahrukh stares into Manisha's eyes without even touching her. That gaze, the intimacy. I don't think he managed to recreate that kind of chemistry with anyone else. Great cinematography, dialogue, acting, and location. Easily one of the most well written romantic scenes I've seen in BW.

There's nothing cinematically great about this scene/song, but its the emotions conveyed that makes it stand out really. The way Aamir's character is so moved by this woman, the way she just sells her car to give him the money & doesn't boast about it and just tells him 'take it'. Probably the most sincere scene in their entire relationship, and the continuation of the song at the end of the movie, with her hand over his, like she never left. Absolutely beautiful, and PERFECT even, because it just heightened everything that he went through, and leaves you with that feeling of what could have been.. *sigh*

The twirl. The music. The cinematography, the feeling of tranquility. Hritik's expressions like he's not even in this world and he's just a feather floating in the sky. SUCH PERFECTION. Jodha's tears, fearing for what's to come. Each frame/moment.

Dil Se is such an underrated movie. I also love the chemistry between SRK and Manisha, it's so raw yet so powerful. Kind of underscores the fact that intimacy is such an intangible, beautiful thing.

SRK acted his best here❤️
