I have seen multiple videos of how "nature is taking the earth back" with dolphins returning to Italy's canals, and just yesterday people posted pictures of seeing the Dhauladhar range in Jalandhar after 30years because there is less pollution now. Those videos and pictures really make you realise how much damage we humans have done and it makes me feel better about having to stay inside and let the healing process takes it's course.

I forget) was his close enough friend for him to drop all of his work for her, so can it be deduced that he was cancelling all of his meetings so that he could help Kuhu because it was her first project??? I don't even know at this point, guys, I'm just desperately holding on to little, insignificant details to cope with the suffocation I feel at home plus not getting any new episodes 😭

This is so spooky. I was thinking the same thing when I saw this video today🙈🤯.

And I have been holding on to small small things as well. Just yesterday, I re-watched post-leap episodes and Kunal is so desperate for attention in those episodes. He looks at Kuhu whenever he gets a chance. I was obviously reading too much into the scenes but it gave me full on sadistic pleasure. I must have seen the confrontation during BP-BM's anniversary and when she leaves the house multiple times. They are so satisfying

Can we start discussing 'What if' scenarios like Meera had mentioned??

Hello everyone! I am also here, and doing fine.; I was just taking break from screens (or trying to!), and to some extent, it was a successful experiment! Thanks for checking in with all of us, @aqua! And I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better! There should definitely be a place to vent about that time of the month -- it's still so often dismissed as women just being moody or taking advantage. We know so little about how much it can actually cause physiological and psychological havoc! 😕

@bold: I too loved that! Getting drunk to drown our sorrows - we've all been there 😉😆. It's cute when ITV throws in a bit of realism smiley36.

Sam, I felt the same about the KuKu scene before Kuhu goes to plan the offsite meeting. It was as if Kuhu knew Kunal had begun to feel something for her but she walked away because he wasn't going to say anything or express his feelings. He himself was struggling to deal with his feelings at that point.

@bold: I will definitely check these out! Although, I have to be careful to set time aside when I listen to Ghazals because it takes me a while to come out of the melancholic trance they induce.

And Hi-five on the Kuku scene! I think after the leap, Kunal wasn't subtle about expressing that he liked having Kuhu around or that he was striving for her attention. But what would have been more than enough for Kuhu before the divorce papers just didn't cut it once he put it down in writing that he didn't want to be with her. He had to come out and say that he wanted this marriage, and she wouldn't settle for anything less at this point.

And we've all definitely been where Kuhu was when she drowned her sorrows! That's what makes her a unicorn in ITV land -- she's allowed to be a real, live girl instead of a prototype.

Sorry to hear about the uncertainty around work -- it's definitely the worst part of this whole situation. I was supposed to finish up a degree in May and my family was coming down and everything, but now graduation is cancelled. It's a total first world problem, but still a major bummer! I am so looking forward to seeing all your creative content though! 😃

@Meera: Such good questions! This is exactly why I wanted to talk about the leap! I think the Kuku story feels a little imbalanced because while we watched Kuhu struggle with Kunal's indifference for months and months, we only got a few weeks of Kunal's (just after the leap, and during the offsite), but with the implication that it had been evolving over the two months we didn't see them. I think we'd be a lot more satisfied with the second wedding if we had gotten glimpses into that phase, when he supported her in getting her business off the ground while she tried to distance herself from him more and more.

I like to imagine that Kunal was the first person Kuhu broached the subject with, saying that she wanted to find a way to support herself once the shaadi was over, so not to be a burden on her family. She tells him she's been planning parties all her life, and recently, her friend gave her the idea to do it professionally. They were on cordial terms at the time (from the flashback scene where she tells him about the grace period and he holds her hands), so I imagine he got her set up with the right accounting software, and referred her to books and blogs etc, on event management from the business side. Through all this, she is very formal and grateful the whole time and Kunal starts to miss fighting with her.

I got the impression that Neha was a family friend who needed a wedding planner so Abir referred Kuhu to her. The family's involvement and investment was mostly to support Kuhu, but also because they knew Neha from before. When Kuhu got the project, she was really nervous so Abir got the whole family involved and did a lot of the work himself (because he also needed a distraction and hanging out with Kuhu made him feel a little lighter). Once the entire family was on board, Kuhu spent less and less time interacting with Kunal (a conscious effort on her part) and he got more and more desperate to get her attention, therefore the new suits and the new diet. 😉

This is the HC I have in my head anyway 😆

I totally see this playing out in my head, Sam!

Speaking of Kunal longing for Kuhu's attention, do y'all remember the noodles scene, when right after Kunal gets up and leaves after Kuhu feeds him the first bite, Kuhu is like "yeh theek nahi hai!" and he turns around, ready to go at it with her, but she instead shifts the attention away from him completely? His facial expression there said everything! His irritation was a clear sign of him wanting her to give him something, at least a little attention.

Okay, so in my head, if Abir hadn't overheard the conversation between Kunal and Kuhu the day before the wedding, Kunal would have gone to meet Kuhu the next day after she texted him (hard eye-roll when I remember how Abir takes Kunal's phone and texts her "main nahi aaunga". Seriously, dude? Now is not the time for nakhra). What happens after that, I'm not quite sure. In the introspection scene where Kunal asks Jugnu about love, I remember him thinking to himself that if he used his brother as an excuse to save his marriage, he'd be even a bigger loser than before. So I'd like to think that translates into a positive outcome if he had gone and had a conversation with Kuhu then?

The sadistic part of me likes to think that Kunal once again screws it up when he tries telling Kuhu that he wants to stay with her (this is a separate drabble altogether, so if someone wants to write it, I wouldn't complain *wink wink*), and as a result, they divorce.

Totally! Kunal was hanging on her every word in those episodes, waiting for her give him the slightest bit of attention (positive or negative) and Kuhu had no time for it. I also love how in that noodle scene, Kunal was whining to the family about how this whole thing is silly and don't they have anything better to do, but one icy look from Kuhu and he stands to attention, totally mum. 🤣

Another really satisfying scene is the confrontation they have outside of BM and BP's anniversary celebrations. Kunal's trying to slip casually into the pati/damad role and Kuhu is just not having any of it. That line about making paper planes out of the divorce papers was killer! And of course, that scene contains the incomplete "aur mein..." notorious in the Kuku fandom 😆

That's nice!! I take breaks in between when I am helping out mum with ghar ka kaam but I do need to reduce screen time.

A friend made me realise the importance of checking in. She used to message me once every 2weeks after graduation to ask how I was doing so that gave me place to vent out all of my frustrations and concerns when it was convenient for her as well. Her asking me made it so much easier because I didn't have to go looking around for someone who wouldn't shut me out plus I wouldn't have to ask if they had the emotional capacity to handle my emotions.

I so need a place to vent about these monthly torture cycles. And exactly!! There is not a whole lot of information out there about it's physiological and psychological effects.

And we've all definitely been where Kuhu was when she drowned her sorrows! That's what makes her a unicorn in ITV land -- she's allowed to be a real, live girl instead of a prototype.

You guys make me love her so much more than I already do!

Would it be rude of I asked you how old you were? I am asking because for some reason, I imagine you as a wise old 🦉 who gets excited when topics of interest come up. A better description would be a mixture of Dumbledore and Trelawny which is one weird mix.

I love the HC.

In my imagination, the only difference is that Abir was more involved in the process and he would be the messenger between the two because of Kunal's dialogue, "I know tumhe meri to koi kadr hai nahi, kam se kam mere Italian suit ki hi kar lo".
