Yashoda pretty much outshines every other woman in Krishna's life. Imagine having the lord as your little baby. You know I once read this story that after Kurukshetra none of the Kings or Soldiers lived and the only ones who returned to their native kingdoms were the story tellers and court jesters. Once in their native place they twisted the story of war to glorify their own kings and the side they fought for.

It is so incredible that every mythology around the globe places a super destructive war in the same 200 year radius! That is 1400-1200bc.
