I'm not sure what Pooja was trying to convey? Did Adi and she not share a physical relationship? And if they did how can she day that it lacked the spark..I mean you don't get in bed with someone unless you really have a physical attraction and love for that person, no? And a physical relationship is not something that even the closest of friends share!!
If she was put off by his not going for the poetry thing, then by that standard all women will have to look elsewhere!! It's not like one can expect ones spouse to like everything you do!! My husband hates shopping .. At times he'll accompany at times he won't.. That doesn't mean he doesn't care!! I would also rather have him do what he likes than selfishly have him come with me and be bored!

So I'm guessing perhaps they didn't have any physical relationship for pooojoa to feel neglected!

Im sure they were a normal husband and wife couple physically but pooja is entitled to her own feelings maybe she felt the love that she wanted in her husband/partner was not the kind adi provided maybe they were just friends who loved each other. we are always shown this thing in desi shows that you can only be physical with your spouse if your are in love with them but that is not how it works in reality people many people associated physical and emotional love separately too. Pooja didnt deny she loved adi just it seemed not the way she pictured she would her hubby and basically friendzoned him lol

You don't have to have passion and a great level of physical attraction to get into bed with someone. Majority of marriages in India are devoid of passion and probably have many women who aren't attracted to their husbands but still sleep with them for the sake of begetting children etc.

It's not about physical relationship. If course they had.
She must he loved her as a best friend. There was no intensity from his side. He never put in efforts to woo her . Etc.
He dint make her feel loved. That's what she meant.
And India is a diverse country. U can't make comments like U don't get in bed unless u r in love. People do get into physical relationship before marraige. And just bcz u r sleeping with your partner, doesn't mean u hv to be on love. It could be just attachment. , Not necessarily love.
Not stating what is right or wrong. Just stating a fact

I agree with above comments. You don't have to be in love/have passion/ or anything deep to sleep with someone or even with your own husband. It's great to have it but not mandatory. Adi and Pooja were married for couple of years. They were in love when they got married and Pooja fell out of love in later years so that answers your Q.

I seriously doubt this one as whatever flashbacks adi has, they are from his wedding night. He kissing her and pooja sitting on his lap. So there was no lack of any physical touch for sure neither about the consummation of marriage. It was Pooja's own denial that she didn't feel that love
