Why does Sonam needs to wear stylish clothes in a film like this? C'mon man .. it's a small towns' story .. she can barely act a bit, at least try to be authentic in your clothes to suit the character.

Sonam looks like a NGO worker who has come from city to spread awareness about menstruation hygiene in the village. Loving Radhika Apte's look.

Am two minds about what I want for this movie. On one hand, India needs the message of the movie. The entire taboo over periods and buying pads and tampons needs to go away. Women's hygiene and health is an important issue and coming from a male superstar (sadly) the men might just deem it important lmao. But on the other hand,I don't want Akshay to make any money from a women related issue when he really doesn't give one damn about women in actuality and is only trying to increase his so called right wing morality brand value as a sanskari social worker guised as an actor.

The one good thing here is that he will start off as a married guy, so there won't be any wooing required aka no scenes of him stalking Radhika Apte, recording her secretly and using her pics in posters outside to promote his shop 😳

Well .. as per the actual story, she should be playing a middle aged teacher in a non-metro city some time in the early 2000s. So, this look is definitely not authentic. Sonam can't act and on top of that, she wants to show her fashionista side in a rare author backed role that anyone will ever like to offer her. Seriously, some people are definitely not worth the privileges they get.
