Dearest People at SET India,I was away for a few days, only to come back and find out that you have decided to shut down "Yeh Moh Moh ke Dhaage". I have never written to a tv channel before when other shows I liked were pulled off air. But this time is different, because this is, and will remain, my all time favourite.I have watched this show from the very beginning, not missing a single episode, and have loved it right from the start. The concept, story, acting - everything about this show is refreshing and beautiful. Eijaz and Niyati have acted brilliantly, breathing life into fictional characters who story many of us have gotten hooked to.It is a major disappointment to a lot of viewers, like me, who are fed up with the usual run-of-the-mill, seen-it-all-before, it's-all-been-done-before serials that get thrown at us daily. Yeh Moh Moh is a breath of fresh air, that allows us to breathe in an otherwise suffocating tv world. There hasn't been a single boring, lagging, or dragging period in this show. What I, among other viewers with discerning taste enjoy:-- the lack of a Saas-Bahu drama- the absence of over the top vamps and tramps- the quick resolution of misunderstandings- a hero of substance - who didn't look flashy, but still made us swoon- a female lead who stayed true to her character even after marriage- a female friend who was just that - no hankerings, no complicated history- other characters whose back stories truly intrigued - the show didn't HAVE to be about the leads all the time, and I didn't mindI understand that nothing is permanent, that everything comes to an end. The least SET could have done for loyal fans, is let the show run its natural course. Your decision to end it prematurely is a let down and insult to the creatives of the show, the fans, and most importantly, the leads who were truly committed to keeping us entertained. This is terribly disappointing, especially when there are other shows that could have been cancelled instead. You have lost fans and subscribers over this SET.
Yes... the word 'insult'... Insult to the creative team and the actors...to the fans... which hurts more than anything...
And I am afraid these people will never try to walk on this type of tracks and will go with the wind...
...Sigh
