I think all skin tones are beautiful in their own way. Whether one is fair, wheatish, dusky or dark, the beauty of a face doesn't lie in the complexion but in the features and also the natural glow one has, that comes more from being healthy than it does from anything else.

Be that as it may, it's not wrong at all to prefer certain skin tones. It's the same as preferring a certain body type, or preferring tall/short people. Having preferences in the type of person one wants to marry isn't wrong, but what is wrong is insulting someone based on their outward looks, and treating them differently just because they aren't your ideal of beauty. Everyone deserves to be treated equally, regardless of personal preferences.
