I saw yesterday's episode after reading the entire discussions on the Forum. I will be honest that I did not find as much lacking in writing as much in execution.

Both the scenes, Aru confronting Mukhi and Scence after Dharmi coming to house, were written well. I felt that the dialogues were good and realistic and in usual YMMKD style.

Aru (in spite of deciding on her own to participate in Sawan utsav in haste), said something which was very much shown the mature side of her. (I will elaborate on that part in footnote)

It was lack of physical contact which bothered me and probably which triggerred all the extreme reactions.

A couple in love (married or not), however hesitant about touch otherwise, do initiate a touch (hugs, holding hands, side hugs, as the situation permits and as per their comfort level), when comforting each other. In fact, even friends do a few of these things when conforting or reasuring.

This missing part made most of us feel that there is a lack of chemistry. I will not pass verdict so soon as it is after all a soap and they way we have our bad days at work, actors and writers are bound to have them too.

I will wait to see next couple of episodes. We all have bad days at work and the show people are entitled to a few too. I am ready to cut some slack to them.

I never was and still am not worried about Dharmi or Abhay's entry. I am ready to go out on my limb here and say that there will be no Mukhi Dharmi marriage track or Aru's affair track. (I am not ruling out misunderstandings but not real tracks).

I do not think Aru Mukhi are really going to separate. (I DO not know or claim to know anyone on sets, or actors or anyone related to this show, so this is just my reading of the way the show progressed so far, and you are allowed to ignore it, ridicule it (when and if it is proved false :D ), get angry, express completely opposite views. :-D (I like a good debate))

I also read a post about the real life fall out but I am not interested in actor's personal lives and trust them to be professional at their workplace. (Again, I do not know and do not really care if they share good off screen relationship)

Promised footnote : As Aru so rightly pointed out the age gap of a bit more than 20 years IS real and they have to live with it. People are bound to judge and if every time one of them let that affect their relationship, it won't do. But it is not easy to get rid of insecurities (or else we won't have them in the first place). I remember after the Nanavati sponsored SR fiasco, in next episode, Aru says she thinks he is Shiv even if she is not sure if she is Parvati. Even Aru knows she is not what he deserves, she is not mature, is too childish and can do things which do not suit his position. But she has made a peace with this fact much more easily than him. (Whys and how's of this deserve another post)

Cheers!

Agreed to everything you said. After good night sleep and coffee, that's what I diagnosed my problem's root was 🤣. Anyway, we can sure give them a slack. They just had one off day on Friday. Thursday episode was a excellent crisp episode.

This is what I posted on Shaheen's thread:

Coming to yesterday's episode..only thing that I felt lacking was physical intimacy(not talking about SR here) between leads..like in Abad they were not too concerned about hugging (remember that scene before he left her at her parents) etc...so my only concern was why is a hug such a big deal now in Amboli in their room? Yesterday scene of Aru talking about his insecurity of age issue was a good scene but it would have been excellent if they had a hug as the ending of it.. even the scene when Aru was crying so bad regarding Dharmi..it would have been a excellent scene for a side hug at least.. and all he did was holding hand.. yaar hug mein kya hai..everyone hugs..friends hug, sibling hug..🤔.. this is totally my personal opinion, not everyone would view this way.

I didn't see anything wrong with actors, they were fine. Also I dont really want to comment or indulge into their personal space.

Exactly my point, trust me if both these scenes ended with a loving gesture (and not just understanding and kind words), all of us would have been rejoicing about the episode. :-D

Absolutely. Those were some real emotional and pivotal scenes, by not showing any contact they left a void and feeling of lacking the depth. Especially because we have already seen them hugging and holding we know they(talking about ArMu not Niaz) are comfortable enough to do some of those gestures.

just loved your this one and the other one.same here I don;t have any interest about actors personal life and all, I know here what are we are missing is not Eijaz or Niyati's fault it;s CVs who is not giving us what we deserve. And really don;t get it why and why it's a very big deal on tv serial to show some realistic married couple relationships on screen ,like touching or hugging or share your bed normally , (who makes love every night yaar??? )
That was my frustration about last episode like when Mukhi agree for competition should be a nice hug from Aru and when she said about judha and all should be a hug or stop her lips from him and crying scene he would have bring her close and comfort her would have been so nice and real. And hut scene would have done much better way also??
And after their jelebi date and nice convo about life and at Ari's house SR time what a wonderful convo they had still all those insecurities from both of them don't get it !!! Thanks for your very nice post hope one of these days YMMKD team see all of your nice posts.

U said whatevr it is in my mind exactly regarding everything. I really loved last episode but felt a bit surprised they didnt hug or look for each other's comfort physically.

And about personal fall out. Jeez. I hate when people try to involve into actors real life. We dont know them, we dont hv the whole picture why should we judge them.

For me mukhi and aru are still growing as a couple. Niyati-eijaz chemistry is still sizzling as ever.

Loved this post.
