Ok so after many guesses & thinking, here is what I guessed about the whole story. This analysis may have some loopholes, but I think this is the only thing that can be possible. So here it goes:
Mastermind: Rajveer
Motive: To get Geetu's love
Plan A: Rajveer's first plan was to kill the real Abhimanyu by planning his car accident, so that after Abhi's death, he can get Geetu. And so he did that accident.
Now why Plan A failed: Bcoz even after everyone was sure that Abhi is dead, Geetu was never ready to move on in her life. RV thought that after Abhi's death, Geetu will marry him. But Geetu still loved Abhi & she couldn't imagine any other person in her life.
Plan B: So Abhi survived in that accident, but may be he went to coma. Meanwhile, somehow RV got to know about Abhi's lookalike. Now he made his Plan B, that was to make Abhi bad in Geetu's eyes. That was the only way to get Geetu. Now, this lookalike may be Abhi's long lost twin brother who now wants to get his parents' love which his brother Abhi got. So RV told him that the only way to get his parents' love is to get Ragini's revenge from Geetu & Rishabh. And then the fake Abhi adopted Priyam & then planned his reincarnation drama to make Geetu mad. But since RV loved Geetu, he strictly ordered the fake Abhi not to kill Geetu, just make her mad. And then RV brought Priyam in his own plan. He ordered Priyam to drop his wireless speaker, so that Geetu can get it & she thought that Abhi was betraying her. Then as he thought, her love for Abhi turned into immense hatred. Then RV came to rescue her. RV thought that if he help her to get her revenge from Abhi, then one day she will surely love him, bcoz RV was the only man who always stood beside Geetu. So now his plan B is working.
Well may be I am thinking too much, but this is the only solution I can think of.
